"Had a small birthday dinner here in downstairs private section. Busy spot however still a nice ambient feel inside Good, kind and attentive customer service staff done really well under pressure as it was a busy Thursday night. Food was good portion size price. Surf turf in particular was yummy and mussels. The steak chips were bomb!!! Photos don't show how amazing they are.. Ribs probably won't order again. keen to go back and try other things on menu"

"The food of Rammen 2nd day in a row sets the 2nd place in a bad position. It must compete with someone who has already fulfilled the desire for Tonkotsu Ramen from yesterday. But Tanpopo did a great job! The Tonkotsu Chashu was so creamy, you thought you'd rather eat Spaghetti Carbonara. Service was fast and attentive, the Gyoza had plenty of meat in them as well as the rams. Only down that the egg was not cut in half and noodles also do not seem to be made by the restaurant (probably no restaurant in AKL does this). But apart from that, a very pleasant experience."

"If you haven’t been to a teppanyaki restaurant then you should do this at least once in your lifetime, while the food may be good, you are not visiting it mainly because of that, what you are here for is the teppanyaki chef’s performance as they prepare your meal. While not all teppanyaki restaurants are the same, most of the do offer this type of entertainment, so if you visit one check their reviews and even if reviews are positive make sure when you reserve ask for their most funniest and interactive chef, this makes a big difference."

"Ordered the chicken sandwich with fries and honestly the fries were so good, they were to die for! The burger was also well cooked and the aioli flavours hit the right spot.
