"The atmosphere in there is lovely and food was flavoursome. Unfortunately we both found an inch long piece of stick or bone in our mouths from one of the dishes. Really poor show especially in this level of establishment, we got a small apology before being stung with a £450 bill. The wine flight portions were tiny at 100ml and worked out at nearly £20 a glass, I would of thought twice if I’d known this, none of that is explained on the menu and not what we are used to when purchasing a wine flight. I found the staff poor, they mumbled through what the dishes were so couldn’t understand what they were saying, its part of the theatre of it and generally seemed very poorly trained. To top it all off the next day I had a very upset stomach. Poor service at times (stick in food, mumbling, no eye contact, staff scruffy) poor value for money, I would not return. Such a shame as I had really been looking forward to it. Not the treat I was expecting."

"Lunch, my wife’s 60th birthday. Complimentary glass of fizz from our lovely waitress. Sharing plata for starter was great. Mains, my wife had the ragù, which she loved, I had the special pizza which was one of the best pizza I’ve ever had, even after a week in Sorrento. My wife’s pudding came with a candle and a chorus of “happy birthday “. Very good espresso too. Overall a brilliant birthday lunch. The Montepulchiano d’Abruzzo was excellent too."

"First, they did not have my OpenTable reservation booked. They managed to find a table for us. But service was slow to nonexistent. Finally, when i asked for the check, they told me they could only accept cash since their payment system had been down for a few days, something they could have warned us about at the beginning of the dinner. Very bad experience, very sophomoric service. One star for service"

"Food was very good and the service also. My only negative comment would be that when the place is full the acoustics might mean it could get very noisy. When we were there they had four tables and it was fine but I would imagine the high ceiling and glass surround would not be conducive to an intimate meal. That said, the tables are well apart which makes a very pleasant change for a London restaurant. On balance I would recommend (will certainly go again myself) so long as it is not on a very busy night if you want a peaceful evening."

"Amazing lasagna at a great price for central London. I had the very filling trio of Lasagna for £12, with the truffle lasagna absolutely delicious. Perfect for a quick but enjoyable lunch whilst exploring the city."
