"I love their food and coffees. They offer very nice salads and also very nice pasta. I loved the fact that they have medium pasta portions, which are just right and avoid over eating. They serve a nice bread bread as complimentary appetizer with your food as well as a small salad with the pasta. I would definitely recommend it. They are located in nearly every big mall around Medellin."

"Slightly amazed by the fantastic reviews this restaurant gets. We visited on a Wednesday evening and were a party of six. The antipasti we shared was fine but nothing spectacular. We had five main courses (our children shared a pizza) and the pasta dishes were good and the children's pizza was fine. However my pizza quattro formaggi was massively overcooked and burnt on the outside and my wife's chicken in a parmesan crust was so overcooked that half of it was inedible.The owner is super friendly and the waitress was very friendly but it wasn't really enough to compensate for the fact that this was probably the worst meal we have eaten in three weeks of travelling around Colombia, eating out three times a day."

"For the past years I have lived in the northern end of Medellin and very surprised that this was my first meal at Montolivo Pasta Express yet I have been passing it by every time I shop in the mall (Puerta del Norte Commercial...center at Niquia/Bello. So glad my friend suggested to try this. Yes it is fast food, you place your order at the counter then find an open seating and once your order is ready you pick up and enjoy. The salad was very fresh and had just the right amount of dressing, the pasta was perfectly cooked and had a pesto sauce which was delicious, all of this not to be overshadowed by the tasty salmon, again my dish was tasty and satisfied my palate. My friend had the pasta with shrimp and it was just as tasty. Our total bill came in at pesos or about USD, a good value given the quality and taste AND it is served on china plates with real silverware (not plastic forks). I will definitely return as I shop in this mall about twice each week. I recommend this fast food to others. The short of it is that stars for each Service, Food and Value!"

"If this place has a drawback, it's the small size. There's only seating for about 15 people. To make up for it, the pizzas are bigger than the typical personal pizza. There are also 75 different pizzas, plus calzones and pasta dishes to choose from. The service is about standard for Medellin."

"Great Italian cuisine in the city of Medellin, great atmosphere for either am executive lunch or night out. Service was a bit on the slow side but they attended our large group very well. We had no complaints regarding the food. Definitely will come back."
