"Ce 5 Août nous sommes allés à Lille pour faire un peu de shopping donc nous décidons de manger dans ce resto. Carte simple mais bonne.Mon mari prend une viande frites et sauce maroilles ( qui était excellente!! ) et moi une salade de chèvre avec figues et cerneaux de noix caramélisées.. très très bon !Le seul bémol .. j'ai eu l'impression de devoir manger aux lance pierre !!A peine fini mon assiette et d'avoir bu le reste de mon vin blanc ( j'avais encore une gorgée de dans la bouche !) que le serveur débarque pour retirer les plats et savoir si on prenait les desserts sans avoir revu le carte !! J'ai horreur de ca et pour la peine on a pas pris de dessert et on est parti. Dans la foulée, la table était déjà attribuée !! On sentait bien que c'était un peu un resto "attrape touriste "car j'ai remarqué que les serveurs se mettaient à l'entrée proche du tableau du menu et quand les gens s'approchaient pour le voir, ils leur demandaient combien ils étaient et les installer à table.Technique très efficace..ça fonctionnait à chaque fois !! Au final bon repas mais le service et un peu à revoir ."

"A quaint little bar off the beaten path in Vieux Lille. There is a terrace but buyer beware, there are only 3 tables. If you are feeling hungry, the Porthos offers up some local dishes among which is my favorite local delicacy, carbonnade flamande. Don't forget to try some the beers as wall. Moderately priced and friendly staff."
