"I 'm all for Rebecca 's and wish them great success. The owners have done an exemplary job of trading up the boring interior of their new location for a colorful, interesting vibe. Great job on the renovations! The service at Rebecca 's is prompt and responsive. The food needs some attention. The salad was beautifully presented but the dressing needed a little livening up. The sandwich I had was slippery and I didn 't care for it at all. I will return to this place knowing that it will get much better as it goes along. It 's a welcome larger restaurant for Mahone Bay and the repairs they are making to the building will make it as attractive on the outside as it is on the inside. I went to Rebecca 's at their NEW location a second time this summer. The decor at this location is finally living up to its potential and the inside of the restaurant is super pleasant. There is also a stone patio with a wonderful view of Mahone Bay. Still, based upon the comments of my fellow company of six, I think Rebecca needs to totally rethink the menu over the winter and opt for very high quality pub food reminiscent of the Knot Pub in Lunenburg. God knows the local pub is awful, Rebecca 's sole Mahone Bay fine dining wannabe rival is mediocre at best, and the field is open for a really good BASIC food offering in Mahone Bay. Rebecca 's now has a wonderful space and she can make it happen if she chooses."

"I had a delivery of a cookie, blueberry muffin and two cups of tea with milk. When I tasted my tea, I realized that it had cream instead of milk, so I went back and asked very politely to have another cup with milk... instead. The same server that made the tea did not speak a word, simply took the tea and made a new cup. He hurried and gave me the cup quickly back and because the top did not really splash the hot tea on my hand and over my jacket. I cried because the tea was scaled. He just didn't see me sad! I had to ask him for a napkin to wipe my hand and jacket. So cream in tea does not put a big deal, but I would probably have apologized for my mistake. I understand that it was busy and mistakes happen and not sure that a lid can happen, but sure if you scale a customer, you should apologize! Fortunately, the Nova Scotia is because you could be sued in an infamous place."
