"Great place to grab a chopped sirloin steak with onions and gravy! Moist patty cooked to my order. I had a baked potato and broccoli for my sides. The baked potato was good, not over cooked and the steamed broccoli with a touch of butter, not over cooked, still had color! We had croutons and cheese, a few pieces tasted a little salty but overall a simple appetizer. For dessert, we had a slice of lemon cake, very moist. We have eaten at this location several times throughout the years, as far as the chopped sirloin steak plate; it has been made consistent in taste and quality! Great service too!"

"Business Dinner for 3. Ambiance (5* The view is just superb. Trumps anything I 've seen in a restaurant in a long time. The decor probably could use a little updating to be honest, but your eyes just gravitate to the windows, so it 's ok. It 's clearly that place for locals you go for special occasions birthdays, hot date, etc. Lots of people dressed up, including girls with super hot, short dresses. Thought I walked into some sort of prom setting at first when I saw a matching couple girl in a sequin red mini dress and guy wearing a horridly shimmery red tie. It looked a little comical. But point is very dressy vibe. Service (3* Started strong, though I would recommend that some of the staff dress a little more neatly. The service tailed off toward the end of the meal, as we were left waiting awhile for clean up and check. Bread (5* Soft, warm. Excellent butter. Wedge Salad, $12 (5* Hard to do wedge salad wrong. Good dressing ratio. Always great to have the fresh cracked black pepper on top! Buffalo Ribeye, $57 (5* Came out looking really nondescript because of the marrow crust. They could work a little on the presentation that 's for sure. But then I tasted it, and it was unreal. Tasted a little different and super, super tender. A most tasty meal. Broccolini, $13 (2* The stalks were unusually thick and thus a bit too tough for my liking. Value (4* Pretty good portions relative to price. Final Word Before I get to the summary, there is one thing I would like to address. The menu has pan seared fresh catch. The description says freshest catch available . I was so looking forward to a gulf fish for dinner like redfish, black drum, sheepshead, snapper, grouper, etc. No... it was Chilean sea bass. There is no way that is the freshest catch available. Very disappointing. That being said, the meal itself was quite tasty. I will definitely return for the Buffalo ribeye."

"We celebrated my husband's birthday Hector Saltgrass Steakhouse, our waitress Cruz was simply brilliant and always attentive to get our drinks, appetizers and food to our table in a timely way. As soon as we finished with our plate, it was taken away from the waiter Cruz. He was so fast to get us the big customer service. We will definitely come to eat in Saltgrass Steakhouse and especially, the food was delicious."

"You don't have to look fancy on the outside when you deliver great food, service and drinks from the inside. The ribeye was cooked perfectly and taste delicious. Bartender made an excellent old fashioned and Peter was one of the best waiters I've had in a long time. Surprisingly, the prices are very affordable and worth every penny. I am here on business and I'm so glad I found this place. Highly recommend."

"Will give a second chance but several plates were dirty so we left before eating. Edit- We returned this time for dinner, service was alright, nothing special but what sealed my resolve to never return to this restaurant is the portions and flavor of the food. I ordered the chicken tikka, for a 13+ dollar dish of food I was given 6 measly inch big cubes of chicken- decent flavored. My cousin ordered the butter chicken, once again high prices 11-12 dollars and barely any meat. We also ordered tandoori chicken which was flavorless but bountiful. They charged for each rice(was burnt and oily) that came with and for the bread. The Naan was the best thing on the table sadly. I understand opening a ethnic restuarant in corpus can't be easy, as by and by the town is fast food garbage oriented but every business owner has a responsibility to be honest. Nickel and diming customers and giving tiny portions of mediocre food for exorbitant prices isn't the way to run a business. To me thats the actions of a business trying to break even before they go under. All in all my bill was almost 80 dollars for 3 dishes 2 rices and bread. With 1 beer. The price was worth it to know that I made a terrible choice in returning."
