"This lovely cafe was recommended by a friend and did not disappoint. My son loved his "crobster" sandwich anfpnd my jerk chicken and mango slaw was great. My daughter had the fish sand. It was grilled and tasted good but was difficult for her to manage and kept falling apart. Good service and just a few doors down from the Dartmouth Ferry terminal!"

"We happened upon this eatery while looking for a place to eat lunch. A nice quiet spot. No loud music to bombard our eardrums. Both the veggie burgers and the BLT sandwiches were very good. Fries were fresh cut and fresh cooked. Huge selection of local craft beers."

"It’s been three years since we’ve be able to return and it’s still the best place in town. Cream teas to die for, savoury ones if you want instead. Other meal choices too on the menu. Made to feel so welcome and definitely will be returning very soon with our friends."

"Our food was absolutely delicious and the portions were amazing! Prices are very good considering the excellent quality and quantity of food you get. Our waitress was incredibly friendly and accommodating. We will definitely be back when we are in Dartmouth!"

"Been coming to Dave Doolittle's for well over 20 yrs...my dad used to be a regular. My husband and our two boys who are 15 old and 5 yrs old love the food here and we go as often as our schedules permit. The french onion soup is to die for. My husband always gets snake bites and the club house and the kids switch it up all the time. The staff is great we always banter with Kevin as he is a leafs fan and we are habs fans makes for a fun laugh. The other staff are great and friendly. We've even gone to doolittle's on a Friday night date night to Mike Gough's karaoke. The highlight of all our visits has been Kenny the cook's famous carrot cake it's got no pineapple or nuts in it and it's heaven on a plate. As for reviewers stating there are cockroaches or vermin.... in all the years I have been going and the yrs when my dad was a regular... we NEVER saw anything of the sort. If you want awesome food Go to dave doolittle's!!!! It wont break the bank and you will enjoy yourself."
