"Edited and updated for 2024This place has gone downhill less than 2 years. The staff is constantly changing, and there are a few that appear to be indentured or they would leave too. I only mention this as a reference to the very inconsistent service they now provide. That's why we wanted to give the place the benefit of the doubt in terms of updating this previous 5 star review.The food is not the quality, taste, or texture that it once was. DO NOT EAT THE SPICY TUNA ROLL. I almost puked the last time I ordered it. They can say they use special spices but that spice tasted like spoiled tuna and dish water. The sushi when they first opened was cut fresh and tasted the same.. Fresh! That's what sushi must be. The udon originally was boiling hot with very thinly-cut, high-quality beef strips thrown in at the last minute for a superb tasting authentic dish. During the last visit, the dish tasted like beef stew. The beef was cheap and tough cut like stew chuncks and tasted like fat and grisly chuck roast rather than prime rib.It's not the cost as much as it is about value. This place was always a little pricy, but the quality was the value proposition. Today, there is no value due to the lack of quality and inconsistency in their service.We haven't returned since the last visit. It's off the rotation."
