"From beginning to end, this was an exquisite culinary experience that could not have been better. I made a reservation in advance (high recommendation) and we were immediately whipped at the arrival at our table, and the host mentioned even my birthday. our server, elizabeth, was top notch. she took care of every detail with the greatest professionality and never let us look for her or need anything. the food was amazing and the carrot lava cake for dessert was super delicious. we had a great experience and I look forward to coming back. get the margarita!"

"How can you stop eating at a place called Captain Joey? This locally owned restaurant seems very popular among locals based on the noon amount, but if you try the food you will know why. There are both indoor and outdoor seating, and the outdoor terrace has a good size canopy to stop the afternoon rain. The staff is super friendly and courteous, always with a smile and a friendly word. I had the Grouper Basket meal, which was very good, and the Gumbo alone is worth a return trip! I also tried the baked beans as one of the offered pages that were also very delicious. The Hush puppies were okay, it was just a lot of fried food for a session. Enjoy excellent value for money!"
