"We visited yesterday and I felt compelled to share my experience about the cheesy potato wedges. For the price of £2.95 I was served an old jacket potato that was sliced and crisped under the grill with microwave melted cheese all over it. The potato filling however remained as soft as it would have been in it's previous life. I'm all for not wasting food, but when customers are paying it needs to be what it says it is and in addition, needs to be edible.It was horrible. Unfortunately the queue was a huge line leading into the courtyard so it was nigh on impossible to return the food and receive a refund without spending 20+ minutes queuing all over again. I wanted to warn others though, if you're thinking of ordering it it....don't!"

"My friend and I have fallen last week at this new tee room on a hiking trip. the dame that runs the teeroom was so friendly and welcoming and the small selection of fresh homemade cakes looked delicious, we had the cocosnus and limette cake. highly recommended. beautiful picturesque village location. we look forward to the return when we are back in the opposite."

"Decided on visiting the Queen’s Inn for Sunday lunch today and whilst the building was as lovely as ever, this was a very disappointing experience. We were shown into the very cold restaurant, chose our drinks and then placed our order. The starter arrived and was tasty but it all went downhill from there. The family that arrived a good twenty minutes after us were served their meals whilst we were still waiting. Two minutes later the waitress returns to tell the table she’d made a mistake and picked up the plates of food and tried serving them to us. We declined and asked that she gave them back to the other diners as we didn’t want food that had been sitting in front of other people. We had to then wait again for our food which she staggeringly tried to serve to another table yet again. It was only when they said the food wasn’t for them did we manage to catch her eye. She then gave us only one meal, then the vegetables arrived and were again waiting for my partner’s food. This arrived through the doorway but was held whilst two waitresses stood discussing which table it was for. The food was not of a high standard after such a wait, very fatty and half was left. We declined desert or coffee and just paid the bill and left. This once great inn has lost something of its quality staff and food and I’ll be giving it a while before I return."
