"Soft, soggy crust. Need I say more? Visiting from New Orleans, where we have some OK pizza, but our strengths lie elsewhere. Saw the 4.6 star rating and was excited for some great Chicago pizza. Unfortunately, this pizza was mediocre at best. I even got the recommended one, the capricciosa. Toppings were OK, that's mostly what I ate. Oddly enough, the pizza came out in literally (proper use) 5 to 6 minutes. Seems the only way that could happen is that these are pre-made in the back, just have to go in the oven. Anyway, thin crust but soggy. Terribly disappointed, won't be returning. Server was polite and punctual, no issue there. Don't know what else to say. If they all come out like that, then why is this place hugely rated? Is it possible that Chicagoans don't know good pie? Makes me wonder."

"Service is great here and very prompt. The spinach salad and the cannoli were really delicious. I ordered a dish with fettuccine for my main course, and I would have preferred a thinner pasta. Overall, we enjoy the food here, but not all dishes are winners."

"They have often passed this place, but visited Wednesday for lunch and was not disappointed. ordered a panini that not only made homemade and generously dimensioned, but absolutely delicious. they would recommend to ask also a side salad (clothed with balsamico) that is only an additional one is a large guide. great place and look forward to my next visit."

"Waiter took our order on paper and forgot to put it in so no salad. I ordered the Berkshire chop and it was overcooked, there was a sauce on the plate so I ate it rather then wait for another since my wifeâs Salmon had arrived. Saturday chef should know how to prepare a chop!! Very disappointed, not the first time."

"We were three adults with two (nicely dressed and well mannered) kids at 5 in the evening on a Sunday. The restaurant was 1/2 empty and the rude hostess shoved us at a tall bar table in between a service station and the kitchen door. After asking someone other than the hostess were moved to a regular table. The waitstaff was either overwhelmed or just terribly trained. Service took forever, orders were wrong, and the music was unnecessarily loud. BBQ brisket tasted like it was pounded with a mallet and soaked in liquid smoke. The one good thing I can say about this place is that the onion rings were incredible."
