"I went into amici's last night, it was my restaurant of choice for the 1.5 hours hospital leave I had as a patient. I ordered the entree gnocchi carbonara and the brownie dessert, both as takeaway, and was charged $32.40. At the time I was thinking of contesting it, but fact is: you can't see the desert prices on the outside menu - they're cut off. I was expecting something around $10 on top of the $17 for the entree gnocchi and so was a little surprised. But I didn't want to embarrass myself if that were the right price. It was only later today that I looked online at the TA menu and sure enough, I should have been paying around $23.50-$25.00 (the brownie isn't listed on the menu but all other deserts are listed at $6.50). I know it's not much of Sh overcharge but it makes the difference to me. And a shame because Amici's is my number one pick for pizza in Hobart and I haven't had a bad experience before."

"Tried this place for a weekday lunch after too much hype from friends and social media.<br>

Great spot in a well established food and boutique stretch. The decor and position was good, however there were a lot of similarities in terms of structure with the neighbors especially when you sit outside. A little thought process into the walls would have erased this. <br>

The menu is a typical dessert bar menu, yes there were a few food items but the sweetness from the sugar was just too much. It would not have been the case if the menus were separate. <br>

The food menu had great ingredients and the importance to the local produce was good. The presentation was flawless and it was great to see.
