"We had an early lunch (12:00... at this restaurant on several consecutive days. The waiters were kind enough to give us the best table and recommend the catch of the day. On one occasion we had the sardines. On another day we had fresh roasted mackerel. Both dishes were simple but very tasty. Meanwhile the children enjoyed their fish sticks. The local white whine was OK, the Planalto white whine excellent."

"My first visit to this restaurant,close to the boardwalk, was with my brother. We where both very impressed with the service and the quality of the food. We started with a drink in the inviting lounge outside before walking in to the restaurant. Very nice views over Alvor beach. I started with the tuna as starter and it was one of the best I’ve ever eaten, served with a lot of algiers, I believe, which tasted very good. At €14 it can serve as a main if you are not that hungry. My brother went with the oysters as a starter. Liked it very much. For main coarse we both had the fish kebab as my brother recommended it highly after eating it a couple of days earlier for lunch. Very good choice as it has very big pieces of especially monkfish and also some other white fish. Everything served very professionally. We had white house wine for €5 a glass, very elegant wine. This restaurant as it is on the beach have prices a little higher on the wine, drinks etc., but the quality of the food and the very nice service makes it an excellent choice!"

"Decided to try a new area of Portimao. Probably in hindsight not the best weekend to try a restaurant here due to the Grand Prix and more people than normal looking for a table. Service was incredibly slow. Waited over 40 minutes for main to be served. Food was very average and lukewarm. Wine ok. Would not go back here"

"Visited for dinner and the food was delicious. The bread was light and tasty, so it had a chip. Generous portions, beautiful chips and delicious cheese. Service is very good and friendly staff. Branded Drinks. Lunch for 3 including drinks 20e can't knock this."

"Good traditional Portuguese restaurant. Dinner on the 20th July with my family (party of 5). It was very busy but we were seated within 10-15 mins. The food was good however the white sangria was simply the best."

"One of the worst meals I have ever eaten in Portugal, chickpeas and chicken , it was revolting, my friend and I couldn’t eat it . Just a pot full of tasteless chickpeas and no meat on the chicken , just skin and bone , it tasted old and re heated , very stale Won’t go back"

"A comida é excelente. Bem confeccionada e apresentada com algum requinte. Inicialmente apresentam-nos uma bandeja de peixe fresco que podemos escolher para refeição. Destaco o Bife de vaca grelhado com cogumelos, com um molho tipo strogonoff, magnífico, com a carne no ponto a desfazer-se na boca. Como sobremesa aconselho o ananás em calda de laranja, divinal. Atendimento muito bom."
