"Oakleys has always been high on our list. The food did not disappoint, in fact , it was probably the best meal we’ve ever had there the duck, Brussels sprout salad, French onion soup. What did disappoint was the alcohol part of the meal. I ordered a vodka martini which was delicious but the tiniest pour I’ve ever been served. Couldn’t have been more than 2 oz total. And for the pleasure I was charged $14.50. A little outrageous. The wine pour wasn’t much better. Overall I like Oakleys but will skip the cocktail next time. I would have wanted to give them 5 out of 5 but they need to step up in the alcohol department."

"Tables are pretty close to each other which makes it difficult to have a conversation. It's like we're all at the same table we're so close. For example, our table didn't have a working marker for our menu so we asked the table to our right. The table on the other side of them heard our question and offered a working marker from their table. Love the meatballs. Love the selection. The menu is a bit confusing at first. The menu is the same as last year so some updates would be nice"

"I never in a million years thought I would eat at a meatball restaurant. This one actually has three vegan meatball options as well as two sauces and three sides. It's kind of a hike from the tourist area, but Massachusetts avenue is fun to explore on the way. I had three black bean and quinoa balls with spicy cilantro sauce and a side of Brussels sprouts. The server warned me that this was a lot of food, and she wasn't kidding! I was not able to finish. It was all delicious though."

"Wonderful wine list although they were out of our top two picks, they suggested another one that was excellent. The oysters were fabulous and our entrees were cooked perfectly. Romantic atmosphere and our server was gracious and very efficient. Overall, a very lovely evening and we will be going back"

"Last night we were there and fell in love with the place. the decor was modern, the amount was very lively, very lively atmosphere all together. soon after we got our table, they served the free chips that were very crispy and delicious. then we ordered paella and mango shrimp tacos who were on our table in fifteen minutes. paella, the best I ever tasted. the scallops were cooked to perfection. the tacos were very juicy and tangie from the inside and crispy from the outside. they also gave us the opportunity to share the food between us and asked if we wanted an additional skalopp so that each of us could have one. the amount was right, even though it would not have any sense if it were anything more. I mean, we're little eater and it was just right for us (a main course for everyone) so that it could be less than enough for bigger beaks and not least that was dessert of the evening chovolate flan. it was delicious. only the perfect end of our happy meal. so creamy and so delicious. I'll be back."
