"Such lovely people, friendly and generous, the food was incredible, a variety of dishes and deliciously wholesome. Definitely worth ordering a few dishes and having a mix and match. Also the Battered Cauliflower was light and fluffy with a wonderful flavour. Five stars all the way"

"Visited here for a family birthday in august. the personal was very welcoming, there was a dizzy atmosphere as the football was, but not interrupting our meal. I ordered coffee garlic bread that was perhaps the most beautiful thing I ever had, and filetsteak that was perfectly cooked. could not recommend this place and it is in a great location with many beautiful pubs on the road for drinks after dinner."

"The vegan cake selection is open pale for my pleasure. they also added an automatic satisfaction on the bill, which I thought terribly cheeky. Apart from that, the cake I did was functionally good and the staff was nice enough, and the place is easy to find even though it is a fair, little vegan friend place. that is strange to say, but the place has a kind of oppressive atmosphere, because it does not come daylight and the music is a hauch loud; it reminds me of drinking underwater. I wonder if they went to the same place I went to. mileage may vary, I suppose."

"Simple, relaxed and cosy, Cow Co Cafe is a fantastic breakfast and lunch spot, or just for great coffee. Originally a design store, the gifts have taken a back seat for the cafe. The food is excellent, sourced seasonally and ethically. Service is friendly and the soundtrack is laid back. The interior is small, but there is seating upstairs and outside."

"Nice spot for a drink, however my one issue was that this is labelled as a dog friendly pub and whilst, yes, okay, it technically is, the barman informed me upon entry that dogs weren’t allowed on the carpeted area. Now whilst I understand this is, on the face of it, a fairly reasonable request (that is their decision, of course, they can make decide any rules they want) I’m not entirely sure you could necessarily call it dog friendly in the strictest sense, as this then means you’re resigned to a table by the toilets, a table right by the door, or two huge tables. Was planning to eat here too but it didn’t seem a particularly comfortable place to enjoy the admittedly great sounding food I’d journeyed here for. And what to do if it was busy? Go somewhere else? Have other people been here with dogs? On the carpeted area? And I do wonder If I’d have booked in advance for lunch and brought a dog would we still have been confined to the same area? And if not, then should the barman have been so hasty to send me over to the non carpeted area without even asking if I was eating? Who knows? It was a Monday after all, and service always typically slumps on a Monday. Never mind. You’re spoilt for choice for dog friendly pubs in Liverpool and I’m sure this place is the height of customer service at peak times, dog or no dog, so it only meant I got my steps in and good luck to them, it’s a cute place if you haven’t got a dog and fancy some lunch on a quiet day. If a wee chilly"
