"We've come here several times for breakfast as it is excellent value for myself and the children to eat as well as the soft play, which the kids love (as do I for some much needed peace! The staff are fantastic, so friendly and welcoming and interested in the customers and making sure we have a good experience. This is always much appreciated. "Myself and my friends decided to meet here for some food and to catch up after seeing such good reviews and excellent social media posts advertising lovely food, however we all left feeling very disappointed. We booked a table for 6pm, and although originally seated outside we requested to move indoors as there was an awful lot of flies buzzing around. The waitress offered us a booth indoors to which we sat and spent some time deciding on what to have. The waitress came and took our order, and that was the one and only time we were approached of her own accord (any other time we had to approach her and ask). We did not have the chance to order any more drinks we were given the drinks we ordered along with our food and that was it. Multiple customers came and went in the time we were sat there, with their tables being seen to multiple times and dirty dishes being cleared quickly. However, we ate our food and had our dirty dishes sat on the table for a good hour and a half, which we stacked ourselves. The waitress cleaned all of the other tables around us... I'm uncertain if we became invisible? We managed to catch her eye, and asked for another round of drinks and we wanted to order some desserts. Some of these drinks never materialised which meant we were having to get up and follow these up. I did ask the waitress for the bill, which never arrived so we had to approach the bar once more and pay while stood in front of the waitress at the bar. We were all quite surprised to see they had gone as far to put a 10% service charge on our bill, despite the waitress only ever taking one order from us and the rest of the times it was us getting up to find someone! We did not pay this service charge as we felt the service we had was not good at all. Due to the length of time this whole thing took, we ended up leaving just before 11pm and having to spend a small fortune on parking. The food was pretty average and I personally wasn't wow'ed for the price we paid. By 9pm 10pm the smell from the smoke from the shishas outside could be smelt inside the restaurant. In terms of price, I felt it was on the pricier side with a few scoops of ice cream being £5! I wouldn't recommend this restaurant unfortunately, and I felt we had a very poor experience for the price we paid. It is a shame for the business too, as we would have likely spent more on drinks and such had we have not been ignored."

"Called in on a Sunday lunchtime, not particularly busy at the bar, the restaurant side less so. Ordered the Sunday roast with a choice of beef or pork ,decided on a bit of each,both meats cooked to perfection ,very tasty, lovely crispy potatoes and ample amounts of vegetables ,although the cauliflower only lukewarm the rest steaming hot. Washed down with a nice coffee and even offered a second as the cup not that large. Really good value for money, the service by Matt the chef come waiter excellent , he should take up teaching customer service skills. Shall be returning in the future."

"Worst Service I have ever experienced from any form of restaurant. My other half had placed the order through their website at 19:40 on 06/02/22 and left me at home whilst she picks her mum up from work. Order never turned up, perhaps they are busy and I didn't want to be too eager (it says 60 minutes wait when you place the order) Around 9PM I phoned twice to say we haven't received this order, but no answer. This is because they are now closed. I figured these thing's happen, I'll put a Pizza in the oven and phone back the next day, a lot of people I know eat here and they are not going anywhere. I phoned today at 12:38 on 07/02/22 and stated we hadn't received our order, and requested if we could please have it tonight. Lady on the other end was understanding and said she would need to investigate as the order is showing satisfied their end. Delivery driver had stated it was delivered at 115 Walmer Road, to someone with a red dressing gown on, and as such they will need to look into it a bit further. Sent them photos of my front door so they can check further with the driver, didn't hear back so I phoned again 4 hours later. They said my photo's confirm that the driver's photo is the same property, I asked for a copy of the photo, and it's definitely my property. Only I was the only one home, and I was sat in the front room right next to the front door, there is no possible way I would not have heard the door. As you can imagine I gave this further review, you can quite clearly see their driver's photo has one mistake. Yes it is the correct property. BUT IT'S NOT DARK IN THE SLIGHEST! Last night you could barely even see the pavement at gone 19:00 and their driver said they delivered it at 20:05 along with this photo across the street. It doesn't take a genius to work out they are lying their driver is clearly shot to bits if they think it's possible to fool anyone by taking a photo of the property the next day to cover your tracks. I have had several orders from this place, but it's just sad that the consumer will need to claim money back through their bank, as appose to a replacement product OR a graceful refund... As you can see, I sent them several photos, and there is no sign of it being night time at all in their delivery drivers photo, If they solve this within a matter of days, I will update my review accordingly, but judging by what I have so far they don't care."

"We were a little disappointed yesterday with our takeaway food. The Popeye burger was really bland although the chicken was cooked well and the brioche buns in all the burgers were burnt so tasted bitter. Loaded fries were great but the slaw was...so bitter it was almost inedible. Such a shame especially as the order comes with a mandatory service charge!!! Not good."

"My wife I went for lunch on my birthday. This was our first visit to the Watermark and we were not disappointed. The main course (shoulder of lamb) arrived quickly and was delicious. The house red wine complemented the lamb well. Deserts apple...crumble pineapple upside down cake) again arrived quickly and were tasty. Our waiter Dave was great. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to the Watermark and look forward to returning."
