"The menu does not clearly show which elements are ovo- or lacto-vegetarian, and the waiter had to consult the kitchen to certain items. Essentially, the dishes are lacto-vegetarian with mock meat, and the fried rice can be made vegan if you ask them to do without egg. The staff gave us a free appetizer of golden Kimchi (vegan, that was more tart than wicy. We have the maize, zucchini, the oyster mushroom, the eggplants and the mountain Yam from the grilled / fried part of the menu. (The golden Kimchi rollers are lacto-vegetarian. I liked the spices that they put on the zucchini, and the pea sprouts that they used as shrimps were very happy. From the ironing area we have Mapo tofu (not spicy at all and a seasonal vegetables (Chinese cabbage). Our main thing was the fried noodles, of which we should have ordered only one dish: two were much too much given everything else our party ordered from four! And finally we had the mushroom soup similar to the hot and acid soup without being spicy. They do not offer free water: instead you have to order bottled water (NT$30. They did not have a real Oolong tea (NT$50 : they could only be poured unsweetened or sweetened cold tea into a pint glass and served with a straw. The only beers were heinekens or a non-alcoholic. Our per person costs were NT$430 including drinks. All in all, it was okay, but I'm not sure I'd come back. There are many other options I prefer to go."

"This review comes from when I went in 2018 (before I became vegan). The salad dressing and pasta sauce was probably made with milk, but I don't remember right now. This is such a sweet little restaurant that is basically just reservations. The chef is a friendly older woman who seems to know how to cook everything. She used to cook Taiwanese dishes, but moved somewhere on the way to western cuisine. My mother had made a lunch reservation for us (NT$380 per person) before the day we went. There is no menu, and the dishes were almost all Italian influenced: vegetable soup (potato, kabocha, oregano, and black pepper), leaf sowing (with tomatoes, high-flower zucchini, purple cabbage, red peppers, apples, tomato salad, olive oil and vinegar), steamed vegetable dumplings (Mom pre ordered this with our reservation, and they are so tender. She has customers who have eaten in the restaurant for a decade. Mom bought two packages of red beans (NT$180) and a package of brown rice (NT$450) from her as they source any ingredient with care. Her partner also gave us three small oranges and advised us to dry the bowls and cook with the red beans. You can also order steamed rolls from her via the phone to pick up after 17:00. They come in hearty and sweet aromas: salted mustard green, cabbage or black sesame paste. Updated by previous review on 2020 03 31"

"I wanted dinner near hip pun as there was a pop-up vegan thirft shop event of taiwan vegan frenzy on this day. this place was a good sound! the owner was super nice and has extinguished five seats for us in the tiny sitting area. I have translated the menu for my friends who do not read Chinese. the dumplings with suppe were definitiw the biggest buck buck: it comes with eight knödeln served on the side of a large bowl suppe filled with vegetables and tofu skin, the lion mushroom soup with its choice of knödel (either cauliflower, salted savory, kimchi or fennel). I have the jajiang fried instant noodles, and a few friends got either the kimchi fried rice or shacha fried rice. all dumplings, fried noodles and roasted rice were served on one-way paper plates. but the suppe, the (cold) lemon vegan chicken pieces and the pan-fried vegan pork soup were served on reusable ceramic plates. as strange! They also had only disposable copsticks and suppen spoons, so they bring their own to avoid müll. I loved the vegan pork chop, and I would definitely change with knödeln into the suppe."

"Came here on recommendation from friends who previously studied at Yangming University. Apparently the restaurant has been there for a long time and is a favorite of local vegetarians. We had a kind of savory porridge, dry noodles, 抄Searchs that were actually as big as normal dumplings, dried tofu, pickled cabbage... Prices are cheap and everything was super tasty, clear recommendation for both, food here and stroll across Yangming University Campus on a sunny day."

"Large Taiwanese cuisine restaurant in very nice shopping area. also the last order is 9:30 and they close at 10 o'clock, last time I came at 9:10 o'clock she told me: “No more” (is why 4 stars) make sure they arrive before 9 o'clock, otherwise they do not serve them. I love her eating, so I went on the next trip. as always their 肉ύ肉 is amazing and the garlic clam is so delicious"

"I remember the five-grain rice balls stuffed with vegan filling fondly from when I first discovered this place, but during my most recent visit, the rice ball was only half full of filling: the top half was just rice. Service was also really slow because they were fulfilling several Foodpanda orders. I also wish they had unsweetened versions of their plant-based milks: only soy milk can be ordered without added sugar. But the almond/oat/brown rice milk was pretty good and very thick. The dumplings (both cabbage and salted mustard ones) were also yummy, but I could have used some hot sauce. Finally, you'd think they'd be able to have someone proofread their English spellings of things before they printed out their menu and posted it in their restaurant."
