"Other than myself as sole lunchtime diner the only meat people in residence was a young waitress with a French accent and a manager occasionally showing her the ropes. I was given an a la carte ands a lunch menu. From the former I chose...what was billed as a single leek croquette but was served rather ceremoniously on a metal tray a couple of croquettes. Crunchy and unusually for meat people gloriously vegetarian. A very good aioli accompanied. Steak and chips was a more conventional unsliced bavette medium rare as requested with a bowl of well seasoned chips. A full bodied Malbec on the side."
