"We visited here on one of our last nights in Port de Pollenca and it ended up being one of the best meals during our stay. La Barra is located on our favourite little street in the town, full of lovely bustling restaurants and a...great atmosphere. The menu consists of traditional Spanish tapas, along with some of the chef’s own which are somewhat more unique, and a selection of delicious sounding daily specials too. The owner has opened this place quite recently after moving from another local restaurant, and looked after all the patrons personally. All our food was gorgeous we had gambas with roasted garlic, chicken satay skewers with basmati rice, tuna tataki and seabass stuffed with prawn the last 2 of which were particularly standout. The wine was a delicious local cabernet syrah blend, and v reasonably priced. The owner is clearly very proud of his restaurant, and rightly so given our own experience and all the reviews to date. We fully expect to see this restaurant at the top of the trip advisor list when we return next year!"
