"We were visiting the area and taking a walk one morning looking for a place along Santa Monica and Venice Beach to have breakfast. We happened upon the Fig Tree, which was pretty much the only place to have breakfast at about 8:30 am in the morning. However, we are sure glad that we found the Fig Tree! We had the Chilaquiles and Chicken Tinga Hash for breakfast, along with coffee. Both dishes were beautifully presented and tasted as good as they looked. The serving sizes were generous, the flavors of both dishes were fresh and delicious, and even after the meal, it didn't seem that we ate that much (but we did Also, the service was excellent, the restaurant is ideally situated near the beach, and we highly recommend the Fig Tree to visitors and locals alike."

"They used to have the best French toast on planet and a great brunch menu. Now they got rid of the French Toast and have thre items in brunch menu. Too bad. Food is just okay service is just okay. Loved this place won’t go back :"

"Last Friday we had an excellent seafood dinner at the Venice site. Christian was our attentive server and he went out of his way to make sure our drinks and food were right. We were often here and had different levels of service, but this last experience was excellent. Very recommend their seafood and drink specialities."

"This is one of the best spots to eat in Venice Beach. The food is fresh and filling. Being right next to the beach is refreshing. Also, the service is always friendly. It is a bit on the expensive side. $24 for a breakfast burrito if you add meat. I think that's just how things are getting so over LA though. It took a long time to get our check after our plates were cleared. The bathrooms weren't very clean either. But I definitely still recommend coming here."
