"Food was seriously, genuinely lovely. The haggis was another level, and for someone who doesn't eat or even entertain the idea of mashed potato, this dish was fantastic. Beers were great and from the local brewery too. Dessert was very good. The only minor let down was waiting time between main and pud, but that is me being overly critical! Overall, a great experience and would definitely go back if I find myself in the area again!"

"Had the most amazing breakfast yesterday! Normal fayre, sausages, eggs, hash browns, black pudding, beans , bacon, mushrooms and coffee. What sets it apart is that every single element was amazing, even the coffee was fab! Toast was tasty , kiwi cafe culture at its best"

"I'm struggling to give even 1 star. I have never experienced such poor service or had such unedible food. A table for 2 we ordered 2 starters and 2 mains at 8pm. One starter came out and by the time I managed to get a waiters attention my partner had eaten their starter. I declined to wait for it Any longer and cancelled my starter.the mains arrived, looking great, but on tasting the food it tasted burnt. Turning over the meat showed it to be quite badly charred giving the foul taste. It was returned to the kitchen and I declined a new one to be cooked. Not an enjoyable experience"
