"An inviting outside view, fairly uninviting waiter, but the waitress who served me was really friendly she just seemed to be rather run off her feet. This might be explained by the job advert on the door looking for friendly waiting staff. Had a...simple pasta dish which was large and tasty. A bowl of freshly grated Parmesan cheese was brought with the meal, sadly there was no salt or pepper on my table and the waitress overlooked this. Cup of coffee at the end was OK. All in all, worth a visit, but be prepared to pay slightly over the odds for quite simple fare. If you are a dog lover, it appears that dogs were allowed. Not sure I personally like dogs in an eating establishment, but the large Alsatian was sat quietly at his owner's feet at the bar."

"Ate here last night. Asked for a bottle of house red to accompany our meal. When the bill arrived we were shocked to find we had been given one of the most expensive bottles at 35 euros. Obviously we challenged this to be told they don't do house wine in a bottle so had given us that. And as we had drank it there was nothing they could do. The waitress offered a complimentary drink to apologise for OUR misunderstanding (this was the same complimentary drink given to all dinners). The final straw was the waiter who served us sniggering about it. Very bad way to treat customers. I will never eat here again and advise anyone who does to order carefully."

"We went there for dinner in our first night during our stay in Oberstdorf and were happy we did. One of our kids got a pizza, the other spaghetti with red sauce, my husband got spaghetti with shrimp and beef strips and I got a small salad and the tortellini soup. The entire food was very good and the server was efficient. My only complaint was that the place is a little warm but overall great dining experience and we would return again!"

"Landgasthof Adler Birgsau is the right place for meals or meals. Without car traffic in the nature reserve you can enjoy the landscape in the beer garden. The restaurant is original and very tasteful. It is traditionally cooked, freshly prepared and is very tasty. We can only recommend this peace and relaxation in a rustic environment. Once again we forgive for fantastic food. Pig roasts and deer roasts from their own wilderness. Please note pictures."
