"Hard to know what I love most about this restaurant: the nice people, the friendly service, the old-world charm of the building or of course the food and drink! It's tough pick favourites but we're big fans of many items on the appetizer menu--the grilled calamari and bacon-wrapped dates come to mind. We've never had a bad meal, and the one time I didn't like a craft cocktail they whisked it away and brought me a glass of wine. We go for dinner as a group, or just the two of us on date nights (they have date night specials Wednesday and Thursday nights.) Love it."

"Waited 2 hours, 3 calls later finally got a cold bland sparsely topped pizza. At call 3 manager said it was free. Still wouldn't recommend it."

"I have tried the location 3 times. The first time I was the second person in the line and ordered a medium fries. That was it. Over 10 minutes later it was served. 2 people behind the counter, 1 in the kitchen.Second time was a bit better about 5 minutes for a plain fry with no one else in the line.The third time there were three people behind the counter and one in the kitchen. The three behind the counter were having a discussion and although I know they had seen me, continued to talk amongst themselves. After about 30 seconds their coworker in the kitchen said "Guys, you have a customer". The co-worker replied, "Yes, but I am telling her something and I'll get to him" The person in the kitchen took the order and the person who was ignoring me shot me an annoyed glance.That was the last and final time this location will have me as a customer."

"EDIT: Recently visited Pong's again and got the medium Stranger Frings Poutine (fries and onion rings poutine). The food is as good as ever though prices have gone up because of inflation. Love that they layer the fries/rings, cheese curds and gravy so you get consistent bites. Comes in a clamshell that will barely close. Delicious gravy. Super crispy shoestring fries. Prepared fresh. Haven't had a proper poutine in years and this may be the best I've ever had. Love that they use shoestring fries and fried extra crispy to hold up to the cheese and gravy. Gravy is full of flavour and delicious. Curds were melty but still had that rubbery texture in the middle. Value is there too. The medium is quite a large portion with the clamshell barely closing shut."

"Amazing Chinese food friendly staff! Photos of combination plate with chicken balls general tao chicken, also came with rice lucky cookie. The staff was very friendly and it is definitely on my list to go there again in the future!"

"The food is excellent - lots of different options. The Benny's and omelettes are all fantastic. Great fruit salad also. The staff are really friendly and helpful. Worth waiting in the line up if there is one!"

"A Saturday dinner ... the place was hopping ... full to capacity and customers waiting at the door. Reservations helped! Drinks arrived quickly and our order taken. The Specials looked appetizing but I had already had my Prime Rib for the week. I ordered the...Jambalaya. It arrived and it was not disappointing ... spicy and chock full of shrimp, sausage and chicken spiced just right for me. With the daily soup special as an appetizer, there was no room for dessert. Service was very, very good and friendly. I will go back."
