"Just arrived from an excelllent dinner. The place is located at the little square under the Black Poui trees (with thousands of beautiful purple blooms). The food was delicious (best we had in Evora). Our dinner for two was under 20Euro. Excellent place! The service (probably owner) was super nice. RECOMMANDED."

"This special restaurant hits all the right notes. Loved the size and decor. We were greeted warmly by Mercy, who provided excellent service throughout. The chef and sommelier are a husband and wife power duo, highly regarded within Portugal and internationally. They’ve earned their reputations. The scallops w puréed green peas was an extraordinary dish. The cheese plate was fantastic and the pear dish inventive and lovely. I have celiac disease and so appreciated the chef coming to the table and asking if I’d like some GF bread. It felt like Christmas morning! Very generous. A very, very special “first night in Portugal” meal. Highly recommend."

"Tucked into courtyard with displays of cork art, it appears that this small cafe only serves coffee...but they do much more. The lentil salad was delicious alongside a cool rose wine. Sitting in the courtyard was an oasis, with a few tables set for dining under a canopy of trees. Lovely place for lunch."

"Absolutely delicious meal in the way to. formal of bones. we had the strawberry/Feta/Walnusssalat a dream of fresh to counteract the heat of the day with a bright oldtejo white wine. my daughter had the goat cheese, walnut honey. Simply...loved the hotel is located in a sweet side street. do not miss it"
