"We go to this place once a week for breakfast. It opens on Sundays and also very early. Freshly squeezed orange juice, expresso coffee machine available and a delicious grilled ham and melted cheese sandwich lets you go happy and ready to work. Unpretentious place...that serves as bakery as well as cafe with table service. Staff friendly speak Portuguese, Spanish and French. A hangout for the neighborhood friends, and the Portuguese and Spaniard community. You will not be disappointed! It gets busy at certain hours as we all like good quality bakery products! Friendly atmosphere. A must!"

"Patisserie Merigonde (Carole et Joel Merigonde) chocolatier patissier. Working in Geneva for over 18 years and this is my very popular place for chocolate. My pictures only give a small idea of diversity; great for gifts to local friends. Sandwiches: Americans know that it is easy to find a ham sandwich in Geneva; or a cheese sandwich; buy practically *impossible* to get a ham cheese sandwich! Carole (Perhaps to help delegates like me) makes perfect ham cheese sandwiches. Visit Patisserie Merigonde on Rue de Vermont 37 for their CHOCOLATES!"

"Le bar "Grand Duke Pub" situé à Genève dans le quartier des Pâquis est un bar typique mais que j'ai bien apprécié, notamment pour la musique (Pink Floyd, Metallica, AC/DC, The Rolling Stones...etc.).Sinon, la carte propose un assez grand choix de boissons dont des boissons non alcoolisées (thés, jus de fruits ou coca par exemples).La lumière est faible, donnant une ambiance tamisée que j'apprécie.On peut s'asseoir au bar ou sur des banquettes autour d'une table. Confort : Ok, mise à part qu'on se sent un peu serrés.Il y a deux écrans plats de télévision qui diffusent du foot.Le service est très bien.Concernant les prix, je n'ai pas regardé mais mon coca-cola zéro avait coûté 5.50.- ce qui est franchement bien trop cher.Dans d'autres bars je ne l'ai payé que 4.-Nous étions entre potes et avons passé un bon moment."

"I travel the world and love kebabs. But this little hole in the wall was a fantastic surprise. I had a lamb durum roll with Chilli. I’m writing this review because the lamb completely took me by surprise. Succulent, juicy and tasty. Fantastic. I will go back on my next run to Geneva."
