"I am new to the neighborhood and got mixed reviews on this restaurant from the locals. When it comes to rating restaurants, I prefer to make up my own mind. Verdict? Very good and excellent value for money. Had a refreshing and tasty cold cucumber soup followed by the chef's award-winning radicchio risotto with red snapper and tomato confit, presented with an edible flower from the hotel's botanical gardens. The soup was perfectly seasoned (the downfall of summer soups if not achieved) and the perfectly-prepared risotto took time to reach the table - sure-fire proof that it was made 'a la minute' as it should be. Table service is discreet, friendly and efficient - the Swiss have this combo down to a science. Tours of the gardens are offered every Thursday at 10:30 (German only). Ask to be seated on the terrace (seasonal) where the view is magnificent. Complimenti allo chef!"

"Absolutely beautiful spot, right on the lake. Very relaxed and peaceful. Staff were courteous and pleasant with some English spoken. The food and drinks are not too expensive, compared with some places in Switzerland and you can go for a lovely wander along the lake when you have finished"
