"I am not sure if I have the correct name and address for this restaurant...but Courcelles appears to have nothing but the Chateau de Courcelles, a gas station, and this place. It is right at the main intersection in town, very close to but on the other side of the intersection from the entrance to Chateau de Courcelles. After a morning of hiking we were looking for lunch, but weren't dressed for the Chateau restaurant, and didn't want to spend €55 for a multi-course meal. And this place seemed to be the only option, even though it didn't look like much...basically a truck stop. Imagine our surprise when we found that it had an extensive menu and offered indoor and outdoor seating. Not fancy, but quite adequate. We ended up having beers and sandwiches (both excellent) and were happy! The owner/host was very friendly and helpful. What a delightful surprise!"

"We had the opportunity to enjoy the sunset from the terrace of the castle, to drink a bottle of champagne, it was fantastic! the diner was served in the winter garden of the castle. the personal is very passionate and helpful advice on the menu: not...miss the ris de veau ... albert, the maître D’ is a top professional and knows everything about wein. the highlight is to meet the chef at the end of dinner and chat with him!"
