"Last year we were already in Daun and discovered this beautiful café. At that time, however, we were always tired or there was no afternoon café time. During this year's visit we agreed better. Last Thursday the weather was not so good. So the right time to go to Café Schuler. My husband always goes to the genetically deposited piewecker in the afternoon, I joined. The café is just too beautiful. It is best to park on one of the public parking spaces and walk to the café. Parking is in the business streets of Daun. Service: The owner welcomed us friendly and advised us in detail at the Tortentheke. Since it was somewhat rainy and very cool, we took place in the interior of the café. Here we ordered our drinks. The staff were very friendly and attentive. Food and Beverage: 1 Latte macchiato to € 3.30 and 1 piece of folklore € 2.80 for me. 1 cup of coffee to € 2,10 and 1 piece of lemon cheese cake € 2,70 for my husband. Kay Schuler is here personally the confectioner and ice cream master. On the way, I have to say that I'm not a fool at all. If, then more cake without cream. But if I'm here, I'll take the award-winning volcanic places. I hope I can describe the great volcanic places in a way. In my life, I have not yet brought a cake to stand, and it will probably remain (better). A thin, crispy ground on it a dark chocolate bisquit. 1 layer of loose chocolate mousse (full milk? the upper fruity cream layer probably the red cream magma. Covered with lemon glaze. He was also very satisfied with his choice. I find it strange that a latte Macchiato costs more than a piece of cake. It doesn't suit me the appreciation of craftsmanship. There are also homemade chocolates, ice cream and lunch table. Cleanliness and ambience: When we entered the confectionery we felt like in a dense Wiener Caféhaus. An absolutely harmonious and beautiful furnishings. Chandeliers on the ceilings and all over old coffee mills. The photos will certainly speak for themselves. Even a “must” in Daun!(1 – certainly not again, 2 – hardly again, 3 – if it results again, 4 – happy again, 5 – definitely back to the kitchen trip. During our café house visit, even the weather improved. So I could swim a few calories in the wonderful Maar in the evening! A good day."

"Wir waren spontan dort mit der Familie und wurden sehr enttäuscht. Die Getränke wurden nicht ausgeschenkt, es wurde nicht regelmäßig (bzw. eig. nie) gefragt, ob wir noch einen Wein möchten, noch eine Flasche Sprudel- nichts. Das Essen hat lange auf sich warten gelassen.Die Vorspeisen waren sehr lecker- und dem Preis entsprechend.Aber die Hauptspeisen hatten es dann in sich: das 36€ Reh war trocken und der Spitzkohl versalzen aber das 30€ Rindersteak i hat dies noch übertroffen und war vollkommen durch und staubtrocken. Ein Teil wurde deshalb auch liegen gelassen, schade um das gute Fleisch. Natürlich machten wir die Bedienung darauf aufmerksam, doch anstatt sich zu entschuldigen bekamen wir zu hören, das wir ja nicht reserviert hätten, da wäre es zeitlich einfach stressiger!! Und da wäre man nicht darauf vorbereitet gewesen! - Dabei war das Restaurant nicht mal halbvoll!! Wir haben noch gewitzelt und gesagt "Sie hätten sich ja auch Zeit sparen können und das Steak früher runter nehmen können"..Vom Preis wurde nicht erlassen, es wurde auch kein Espresso etc. aufs Haus angeboten. Stattdessen dauerte es wieder lange bis die Rechnung kam. Fazit: Essen nicht gut und dem Preis in KEINSTER WEISE angepasst. Bedienung hat die Situation dann noch schlechter gemacht...Schade für den Abend, für das Geld und für das Restaurant, das sicher auch anders kann, aber nun ein weitere schlechte Bewertung erhält."

"Das City Kebap Haus liegt zentral in der Leopoldstraße. Es gut besucht und nicht nur ein Imbiss, sondern hat auch Sitzplätze im Lokal. Draußen kann man auf zugegeben sehr wenigen Plätzen (ca. 6) sitzen, aber das tut dem Lokal keinen Abbruch. Es ist sauber und das Personal freundlich. Die Karte ist fast überladen mit 179 Gerichten, von Döner über Pizza, Salat , Schnitzel etc.. Um schnell mal eine Kleinigkeit zu essen ok, aber ansonsten wie fast alle Kebaphäuser."

"Wonderful dinner choice for Valentines! Very nice inside dining area with a clean farmhouse feel. Beautiful patio if the weather is right too. The steaks were both great, ribeye and lady cut filet. Ribeye is a better cut. Our child had the pasta and really enjoyed it. Salad bar was very fresh. We will definitely go back!"
