"Now , let me give a disclaimer before I review. These are NOT authentic NYC bagels. If you've spent anytime there, like I have, you will recognize they aren't baked (boiled) the same way .... But this is no way diminishes how excellent they were. Just setting the stage to adjust expectations. Hands down this was one of the best breakfast sandwiches I've ever had. The bagel, which had somewhat of a texture that crossed between freshly baked crusty bread and a croissant texture. Incredibly fresh and egg, cheese and sausage were quality and I'd not taste like they came out of a microwave. The staff were very friendly and as quick as they could be given how busy they were for a Saturday mid morning. I was 4 people deep to order to may want to call ahead. We were just traveling through and will definitely make note for next time as it is worth going this way to stop again and investigate further the cute little town of franklin. A short walk up the block and you can enjoy your bagel or cookies or muffin and coffee or one of their other plentiful choices at a bench in the beautifully manicured flower garden on the corner. Off street parking but it's plentiful so no worries. We have a big truck and fit just fine. Absolutely worth every carb! Enjoy!"

"EXCELLENT food with unique flavor combinations—not just another restaurant for sure!! Service takes a while to get going but then it is excellent. Very friendly staff—literally everyone. They all truly believe in the food and are very excited about it, which makes it all even more special. No one needs just another restaurant—-you want something tasty and memorable, and this, kids, is the place. It isn’t cheap, and some of the portions are small, (tapas style)so just be prepared….but it is quality."

"This cafe makes the best Club Sandwich I have ever had. Absolutely fresh and made to order.......just beautiful yummy food here folks. Can't wait to have another.....will get photo next time. The apricot and cream cheese muffins are delicious and the coffee is perfect every time."

"I bought Chicken Tikka and 2 naans and the chicken tikka tasted spoiled and the smell was really bad. My plain naan was hard in the middle too. As for the other garlic naan I had ordered, someone else ate it so I'm not even sure."

"The eggs Benedict were good with the salmon, it is tasty and delicious. It's a great hike here from UC, not too long. The atmosphere is amazing, staff are friendly and helpful. I had tried the haloumi but that was a little bitter last time. Definitely a nice little cafe on the corner and being busy is a good sign. Would definitely return and hope they can keep prices competitive."
