"Forget the tawdry, aged decor, the food is outstanding. The couple that runs it (42 years together as she 's happy to say) does so with passion, and the unpretentiousness and affordability of what tastes like, and is presented as, homecooked Greek cuisine, is a relief. Best as take out, either way skip the 'American ' menu and enjoy the greek specialties."

"This was our first time back after the recent remodel. We didn't like the new look. All the TV's are gone and the inside is very dark. The only booths are around the perimeter and there are no privacy shields which makes it much louder. As for the food, I had an omelette which was good but my wife had a salad with grilled chicken which tasted good but was half the size of what she's been used to with very little chicken. Also didn't like the Texas type country music. I hope they change the name because it doesn't remotely resemble a diner anymore. We will not be going back."

"We were in Milwaukee for a convention and noticed that Pier 106 was the only seafood restaurant around so decided to give it a try. Its right on the Riverwalk so a great location especially for those who like to sit outside (we didn't). We had great service and our meal was very good. We enjoyed an appetizer of mussels & clams which had white sauce over them - sauce reminded me of New England clam chowder - very different than what we expected but delicious. I had the stuffed salmon as my entrée and my husband had the ahi tuna - both dishes were very good. I'd recommend Pier 106 to anyone visiting Milwaukee."
