"We made reservations, though we were the only couple in the place in the off season in March. We enjoyed our pork tenderloin in an onion sauce with prunes. The food came hot for a change (not had the best luck at restaurants in this regard). I think the owner was also our waiter. He spoke a little English and was more than accommodating. In fact we were there on a Monday, when a lot of restaurants are closed. He was out of lamb (you can only have duck so many times) and would be closed that Wednesday, but said he would have lamb for us on Thursday. My wife didn’t like the rice pudding, but I liked my profiterole with ice cream and chocolate sauce. Yummy—we’re going back"

"I stopped a late lunch here. what a great food! we polished the duck and the net so fast - the duck is a must. we also had a spaghetti in cream sauce with goat cheese- loved it. our waiter took care of us really well...to, very helpful with the menu and went out of his way to keep the children occupied."

"We've visited Chez Tom on a number of occasions and every time have loved the food, friendly service and great location! Our favourite is the Calzone (with capers as an extra).... Check it out it's stunning and an added bonus that it's so reasonably...priced for the great quality that's served time after time."

"My partner and I ate here in a very busy time of the year and the food was good value. Partner really enjoyed a great egg cocotte with strong mushroom flavoured creamy sauce and croutons. I asked for a simple green salad as I could not find any starters I wanted. Even though they had lots of salads for main courses the waitress would not ask or a salad for me and told me to have another starter - I declined and so shared my partners. We both had duck burgers for main, he had one with fois gras me not. They were both ok, not a lot of duck though considering how cheap the strips of duck are in France. The chips were scrummy."

"The opinion only concerns catering (evening in this case). A basket of bread was brought quickly, with 3 slices of bread, one of which was obviously from midday because it was stale. A rare duck breast ordered, a medium rare breast (to be nice) served. A fairly decent confit also served. Wine ordered, never served. We stopped the torture there and left directly (after paying for the two dishes). To avoid."
