"The food here is delicious. We had the chicken schnitzel, lamb cutlets, and duck legs. They were all great. The lamb was a bit fatty for my tastes, but the duck was simply amazing. Highly recommended."

"Excellent lunch of delicious SA produce. Start with a bubbly tasting at Chateau Yaldara, then wander over to the restaurant. Friendly, helpful staff, and pretty view. After lunch try a 20 year old and 40 year old drop of port at the Chateau. Heaven!"

"The day experience of barossa chateau is absolutely amazing! I brought mama here today to birthday and the experience was fantastic from the beginning! one has to try to visit the barossa in the beautiful South Australia! first they get devonshire tea (between 10 o'clock or 10:30 o'clock, second a tour through the art and antique gallery, third free time (we explored the rest of the art and antique gallery, they search the beautiful shop, wandered the area and the garden and had a free wine tasting, fourthly we shared a regional plate (cheese with a glass wine and finished by a the personal was love! picture: 1. scones with jam cream 2. skim latte cappuccino 3. regional plate"

"So visited this resturant because it had a 4.3 rating and the pics seemed nice. Sadly, I did not have the same experience to those that gave 5 stars. I'm honestly struggling to understand based on WHAT were these 5 stars given? Maybe it's the service coz that's about all that was good. I ordered the Chefs Surprise which comprises of many different meals that chef chooses to make it's 5 course. Of those 5 courses 4 of them were vegetarian...... But I love meat : . The portion size was big but so much of food was wasted because the flavours just did NOT go. I literally had few bites and couldn't do it anymore it really wasn't good. I don't want to be mean but I don't feel like these meals were prepared by a real Chef, and if they were he/she is probably really inexperienced. Btw...... This is NOT fine dining, it's very very very far from it."

"We went here for Fathers' Day lunch. All fathers were offered a free beverage of their choice from the Kies Winery's range followed by a good selection of lunch options from the menu, not forgetting the children. The staff were pleasant and attentive, the food arrived promptly and was delicious. It was accompanied by some excellent wine. Overall a great experience, hopefully to be repeated soon. Well done to all concerned."
