"Saturday lunch. It wasn't very busy. The starter was a buffet without much imagination, but reasonable quality of food. For the main course I ordered the burger (which was one of two dishes from the main menu). I asked the burger to have without the ban and was told by the waiter that he was not sure if it was possible and he had to ask in the kitchen. came back and said that the cook is ready to make an exception. When the burger arrived, it was pretty. Served with French fries (it was that or salad... they had no rice or cooked vegetables). Together with a 500cl bottle of water, the invoice was €31. You can get the same quality for half price when going to any chain restaurant near a supermarket or shopping mall. I should have found their choice of background music a little strange for the occasion: AC DC live . ."

"I had lunch here with a group of work colleagues. We were in a hurry and someone suggested we all get a traditional dish based mostly on cheese. A small piece of ham on the bottom and perhaps a slice of bread. It came with salad and French fries. Just a lot of cheese for one setting. Service was good and the crowd suggested a good restaurant. I would go back but pass on that cheese dish. Nice atmosphere, clean, etc.."

"We drove from Mons, Belgium, for dinner because we wanted to visit France. Found this restaurant on TripAdvisor and went in. The food was incredible. The owner and staff bent over backwards to accommodate us because we did not speak French but we made it...work. The wine selection was just right and it was very good. The options were limited but that is how you know the food will be fresh and cooked to order. We were not disappointed. I was delighted with an appetizer of fresh porcine mushrooms cooked with butter and garlic for an appetizer followed by a steak with Chanterelle mushrooms. It was wild mushroom heaven. The dessert of creme brulee topped off the night. Highly recommended for anyone passing through or coming from Mons (or any other place)."

"First thing to say is it was open on sunday evening. Service was good and friendly. Food although pricy was really good. Well cooked and tasty particularly the flamekuchen, really thin based pizzas with loads of toppings. The non alcoholic cocktails were delicious but a...bit steep at €6. Would definitely go back."

"We couldn't get our dubonnet. this is not surprising, it seems that dinosaurs like me and queen elisabeth ii are the only dubonnet consumers left in the world. the very attentive and creative maître d’hotel took place an amer picon (cinchona in it) with a dry white wine. it worked well. mustels galore! big, good muscheln mit knackigen chips. a sabayone and coffee finished a perfect meal. the waiter is a positive guy that we now count among our (further but still) friends."
