"We picked this place to enjoy the view while having lunch and we loved it. We had the spinach ravioli and beef jerky tacos but the whole menu looked great. The waitresses were very friendly. It's not as pricey as it looks."

"My husband and myself came here for dinner for our 16th wedding anniversary. I had the rib eye steak and my husband had the sausage and penne. I was looking forward to the homemade bread that I had read about but it never came. Im not sure if that is a special item that comes with certain meals. My own fault I never asked. I probably should have asked however about the cost to add a lobster tail to my order. The menu says it is market price. It turns out that is $29.00. I was a bit bummed about that but again my own fault. Our starter bruschetta bread was fantastic. Perfectly crisp and the tomatoes were warmed nicely. My steak came out pretty quickly. I was thankful because I was starving! But my husbands order didnt! We waited probably another 7 or 8 minutes for his order. We weren't told what the problem was but figured it out afterward when the bill came. The wrong item had been ordered and so we were waiting for the right one to come up! Just a few minor hiccups but the food was fantastic. My steak cooked perfectly medium rare! Loved the atmosphere too. Previous reviews I had read prior to our visit stated service became slow when large groups were there but our service was excellent and there was a large group the night of our visit!"

"We were in the city. both frie and sat had great live music. the pub is big enough that if you don't want to be close to the band, you can find a quieter table. service is great and the manager was great for...ours!"

"We had the prix fixe menu: I started with the pate; my wife had the seafood bisque, then salmon for me, duck confit for my wife, both had the bread pudding. The pate was delicious, but the seafood bisque was heavenly, and happily we switch off half-way through so I could try it. Amazing. My salmon was perfect, a real delight, and the bread pudding was excellent all in all a perfect meal. The service is informal but attentive: this is not a stuffy place, but you do get taken care of. We always recommend Tide and Vine to friends, and this latest dinner reminded us why"

"Overall, the food was average. The burgers were large, however, you pay a premium for French fries. I would rather they just inflate the price and make French fries standard. The included item is potato chips. My mom and daughter had the burgers and said they were pretty good. I had the stuffed shrimp, which didn't have a lot of flavor. I could tell I was eating shrimp and crab, but there wasn't much flavor. The portion was four stuffed shrimp. However, the shrimp were of the medium variety that I would buy at my local market. They were ripped with a tablespoon size crab ball. I had to pay a premium for cheese on my potato. This dish was $29, which I was prepared to pay, but was disappointed when it came out. Or meal was $95 (including a 15% tip). I'd also like to add we all had water to drink. I think the bill was a tad too much when two people in my party had a burger. The best part was dining outside right at the water. I drove from central Virginia to dine there, and am not sure if do it again. Just so so."
