"I don 't think we would come here if it were not for its convenient location at the Bains de Saillon. The Baths are by the way going through a renovation so the restaurant has been moved to slightly smarter settings and been renamed 'Mistral '. The old location with the view over the baths is a construction site now (we didn 't notice the work didn 't bother us either in the restaurant or in the pool) Prices are quite high but the food is good. You can see their menu from the internet site of the baths. They have a good kids menu though. Although the service was friendly, we found it frustratingly slow (kids food took much longer to arrive than ours suspect they may have forgotten our order, and we had to remind them a few times we wanted to pay and go) Overall an ok restaurant. If you need a meal on either side of your attendance of he baths"

"Une petite merveille: litre réconciliation avec la "gastronomie-populaire" (dans le sens respectueux du terme)Accueil simplement chaleureux, à la limite du service des déjeuners. Carte simple, affriolante, à des prix "canons", petit vin blanc sympa "donné ".Puis sot apparues nos assiettes, magnifiquement préparées, colorées, équilibrées. ....et succulentes en bouche: un régal !Nous sommes sortis de là ragaillardis et plein d'espoir pour la relève de la restauration antipathique, surfaite et tellement "pétée " et à l'accueil tellement suffisant et froid: on a le estiment de gêner! Marre!Donc, à la Poste: courez-y , encouragez les.....à ce que, pendant 20 ans au moins, encore, ils nous démontrent ce plaisir de nous recevoir!Chapeau bas!"

"Update to my review from July 31, 2023: Following your kind response where you acknowledge your share of responsibility, I thank you and update my review by adding two stars. I am also reconsidering my decision not to come back to you. By your clearly formulated esteem, I wish to grant you a possibility of relating differently. On D Day, I would like to have an exchange with a member of your management. I will reserve by specifying it. Heartily and Consciously Original review: Small profit for a big loss. During a 3rd visit to this good restaurant in November 2022, I recognize that the quality of the cuisine as well as the freshness of the ingredients were as usual irreproachable. As for the service, it is generally courteous but becomes average when ordering if there is a particular request formulated as a vegan (diet without animal source ingredients). Each time I felt the attitude turn subtly to incomprehension while remaining polite. When we honor with a Conscious choice a team and a place to spend a pleasant evening, everyone should be able to express their food options without feeling looked at like an alien. And now, the unacceptable. It is clearly announced on the menu that a request for an additional ingredient in the recipe of a dish is invoiced. I can understand it, everyone has their own policy, if it doesn't suit me, I go elsewhere. On the other hand, when it is like in my case the replacement of mozzarella by mushrooms, and that it is invoiced even as 1 franc, it is not! It's a matter of principle. We must stop taking ourselves for cows to be milked. The server was very sorry when cashing but told me he could not do anything, it is the instructions of the house. Since the server is powerless, I wrote an eMail to the restaurant management on November 8, 2022 to express my disagreement with this practice. To this day, I am without even an acknowledgment of receipt. I think I left enough time to respond. I see that I am considered as a simple customer who has to cough up the change. Accademia du BUSINESS della Pizza, GOODBYE! You will never see me again, and if asked if I know and appreciate your establishment, I will answer what is written above. Your behavioral and mercantile policy for the Beings in another style of Life than yours cuts the appetite and is hardly worth more than a star..."
