"When you go on restraurant, you see the wonder athmosphere with old cabinet, the olds tables, chairs and typical decoration, so great ! we have choice for lunch inside or outside on,terrasse protected. we opt for the second and it 's a nice choice, decoration and...ambiance exellent Because it 's hot monday and don 't be very hungry, we choose for 3 salads, one salmon and schrimps and 2 fermière can select start size or dish size. The dish size is enought for 2 ! so crazy really big portion ! and have egg, hard and mollet tomatoes, chicken roasted , exellent for 13 € ! two regrets : only 1 beer : not a local speciality, and the water san pellegrino bottle expensive, 5.80 € ! . We can order wine glass by glass, 3 € for local rosé. in resume go on and keep pleasure !"

"Tucked in the shadow of the beautiful church of St. Philibert in Tournus, this little cafe served me up the most delicious little casserole of escargots imaginable. I am determined to try to re-create this dish with its snails, sliced potatoes, and its sauce of parsley--but I'll have to do this while still in France, unless someone can tell me where to get good snails for cooking in Oklahoma! The mustard salad dressing was also to die for. After this perfect lunch I was ready to tackle the study of the church and its architecture."

"In juli many touring restaurants are closed, so this was a good sound. the weather had turned out so that it was nothing to sit inside. we were the only English there and it had a beautiful French atmosphere. we had a drink in le parisian at the river, which also looked beautiful, but it was full of Americans so that we did not eat there. the food was well presented and delicious. as it is in the wine growing area macon is very expensive, so we had Provence house wine, which was good. Chicken and cherry legs on most menus too. recommend the chaource starter."

"With my wife, my son and his partner had a brilliant meal at this restaurant in the centre of Tournus. Great food, excellent wine and a fantastic host. We sat on a table outside with a superb view of the abbey. Food was excellent, as...good as we had on our holiday. Highly recommended."
