"Yvoire is a lovely ancient village where you pay a few Euros to park and then stroll through lovely streets with interesting shops, bars and restaurants. Many of the restaurants have tables on the (car-free) streets but Les Galets has a pleasant garden area at...the rear, where we received a pleasant welcome from the staff. Crepes are a speciality, savoury as well as sweet. Ours were slightly variable in quantity of contents but all were tasty, enjoyable and not too expensive."

"I have to say we're a little disappointed. The nets of perches were good but very small for my son and I (perches and fries). We stayed on our hunger. To the gardens of Leman much more copied for almost the same price. Beef without taste and not tender at all. Hard to chew and small amount. Same for the pig roast. We expected better."

"We were turned off from another restaurant, rather rude because it was almost 2pm. However, we were welcomed here and quickly shown to an outside. the service was really good, very helpful and pleasant, the menu was good and the eating was delicious."

"This is a very cozy restaurant in Yvoire, with simple "savoyard" dishes , like fondues and tartiflettes. If you choose out of those, you can be disappointed, as it was my husband with his overcooked steak. I had "perches" with morilles, the fish was beautifully cooked but the champignons were a bit chewy. We had good wine, Enfer D'Arvier Valle D'Aosta"
