"I visited this place as long as I remember. We camp every year in Pismo for my birthday and always eat at Mo's. The ride to SLO is worthwhile as this location of Pismo Beach is superior to quality and ambience. Everyone is friendly and helpful, answers all the questions you have, ready to take care of you as if you are in a family BBQ. And the food... Our favorites are the ribs and the pulled pig, but honestly we never ordered something here that was not delicious. The ribs have exactly the correct amount of chewing, fall from the bone tenderness, save big smoke taste. The homemade chips in the ranch? So addictive! We always buy a gallon sauce to take home. If you like BBQ, you can't go wrong here."

"The place for clam chowder! The bread bowl is really amazing. The seafood combo with shrimps and calamari was tasty. It had more curly fries than the seafood, but everything had great taste. Portion sizes are smaller than usual, the bowl seemed to be of the size of a cup elsewhere- that’s something to consider before ordering. In all, great experience, really tasty chowder and seafood."

"They stack bowls of fries and onion rings on top of their burger orders and hot dogs. When I inquired to management that this was unsanitary and if they can make it right because I do not want to eat tri-tip sandwiches or hot dogs that have bowls stacked on top, the night manager (Darrel) was rude. He said this is how we always do it-what do you want me to do about it? So very rude but SO VERY unsanitary. It ruined the entire night-it was supposed to nice meal with family returning my sister to college. Very disappointed. When I inquired what time is best to call next day to speak with another manager, the staff members told me good luck because no one ever answers the phones. See image below-one should NEVER serve food like this. The health department would agree this is NOT OK and Darrel 's response of THIS IS HOW WE ALWAYS DO IT probably would not be well received by them."

"That was the first time that the service was fast, and I put it on her table, had not expected that eating was good that I had a cool dog and they were not shy with the cold I liked as they put the cheese? first the cold it melts better that we eat here again and recommend when they are in slo my man had the mushroom Swiss burger and we have fries? they/you will have brewed"

"I had 2 eggs over easy and hash browns. Eggs were too runny—even for over easy—and the hash was a little underdone as well. Not a deal breaker, but not the best. Also, these items coffee tip was $13. Not outrageous, but how about a minimal breakfast under $10? Too much to ask for? I guess I’m still living in the nineties!"

"San Luis does not allow to drive through the city, so all the guests had to go to these McDonald's, which made for a crowded area. People were encouraged to use automated ordering kiosks as they seemed to be affected. The food was good. I guess the hectic atmosphere is the result of being in SLO."

"Brought friends who were visiting from out of town and my wife and I had never been so we figured give it a try. After we walked in the door I was happy with the music, left me feeling like I was in Louisiana right away. The building was definitely showing its age but looked well decorated and clean. The staff was super friendly and she put up with our questions and jokes. The food was really fantastic and the coffee was good and strong, very good quality. My wife and I will come back soon for the vegan jambalaya and other dishes we could not try in just one visit. BTW a friend told me the corn bread was very good, very true! A must have as well as the coffee! Thank you for being awesome!"
