"Very friendly. Pete and his staff are really welcoming and friendly, would recommend stopping here if you are looking to explore Whitby and the surrounding area, situated about 6 miles from Whitby in Egton village. Food is all home made and uses locally sourced meats and vegetables, nice selection of drinks and a lovely atmosphere with open fire and friendly locals. The accommodation is also Dog friendly too and there is a beer garden at the rear and benches at the front. Would definitely go back here"

"There is really nothing special about their patties, they leave out the box of burgers out in the open with the big bold letters McGreggors and their bag of bread labelled Toronto Bread I guess they want to tell us how to make it at home???? Cash only! so instead of losing out on 10 cents per transaction on debit they prefer the customer to lose out on $3.50 on the ATM that 's inside their store which they profit from as well. Lettuce? They don 't know what lettuce means when you ask them. They complain lettuce is too expensive, alright forget what the customer wants, just focus on raising prices and not changing a damn thing. Forget about refills, they only sell fountain drinks and it 's a one time thing. The only thing they got going for them is the name that 's been around for a long time and the fact that they are open late on weekends. Price isn 't terrible for a burger but everything else surrounding it just pisses me off. Hilarious to see 5 employees working just to sell burgers, no wonder no changes get done he 's too busy trying to make a show outta nothing!"

"Good fresh lobster, a tade over boiled. Pretty expensive in May, but you get a nice pier setting. Consider the weather when you eat outside. It can be quite cold and damp on the water. The paper towel on each table was super useful. Your home drinks are well made! But they use plastic cups, nothing reusable. Potato salad coming with lobster dinner was just okay. The corn was pretty good, but especially for season corn! Clam Chowder was fatkkkkkk, so if you like a thinner Chowder, this is not for you. Very delicious. Service was fast and friendly!"

"I placed an order online thru their website. 1x Mac Cheese Roll, 2x Cheeseburger Rolls, 2x Mac Cheese Rolls w/ Cajun Chicken, 1x Mac Cheese Roll w/Mutton, 1x Veggie Kothu, 1x Mutton Kothu, 1x Devil Chicken Kothu, 1x Classic Chicken Kothu. The rolls were different than typical Sri Lankan rolls but tasted amazing!! Also the rolls could have been more spicy. The kothu however was okay. It was kinda soggy and not spicy enough although we picked Sri Lankan spicy for two of them. I like the different menu options that they offer would likely try their burgers or wrap sometime and definitely order rolls from them again."
