"I love ionas! they have a complete vegan menu as well as non-vegan options. the eating is original, and the chef, kostantinos, has some different types of vegan meal that they do not really find in Greece, which is a beautiful change now and then. I had the since then tacos twice and they are so good, with zucchini noodles underneath. I also tried the tofu that was beautiful. the vegan brownie was super rich and decadent. I look forward to the cheesecake! the service here is fantastic. I have met the owners and poppy, my server, makes an ingenious almond milk latte and also helps me to learn Greek! I really love to come here and enjoy a beautiful, relaxing brunch. highly recommended! updated by previous review on 2021-09-06"

"We enjoyed our breakfast with a fantastic view over the old town of Chania. Service was great. What is also worth mentioning is that they have tasty salads and omelettes, not only sweet desserts. Portions are huge, we had to leave with three boxes to go: The only one thing which was slightly missing in our case diaper changing table for a baby in bathroom. But well.."

"I've read so many good feedbacks from this place that during our holiday in Chania a dinner here couldn't be missed. We walked an hour through the countryside to eat here and I can firmly say that the long walk was worthy. The food is amazing, fresh and homemade, we had fresh sausages, fries and.. polenta! Never thought I could eat polenta in Greece, but was a very pleasant surprise.. very creamy thanks to the feta melted in it. We also took pork belly, and the king of the meal: the Lamb made as per the antikristo method. Never eaten such a juicy and tasty lamb as the one I ate here. Impeccable and attentive service, the chef came himself to our table to explain us the dishes, then showed us how the meat was made and cooked. You could see he was very passionate about his job. A little overpriced comparing other taverns outside the city centre but the quality of the whole experience worths every euro paid. Not really easy to reach if you don't have a car, you can either take a taxi or a bus. Please keep in mind no ATM around. I cannot recommend enough this place and if I'll be in Chania again I will come back for sure!"

"Incredible food. Sit inside, first floor, when the sun is going down. Everyone wants to sit outside but you are missing out. The restaurant looks amazing inside and you get a better view and atmosphere. Food was very tasty but personally it was the cocktails for me. The best cocktails I have ever drank, meaning obviously the best place to get cocktails in Chania."

"I was very happy with the amount of vegan options, mostly appetisers so I just had 4 of these instead of a main which was way too much but I took the leftovers Away. I had the hummus flatbread, falafel (no yoghurt) the grilled aubergine with tahini sauce apricot carrot croquettes. It was all really really tasty! Strongly recommend"
