"The most authentic Nepalese food I've ate in Charlotte!!! We called the owner and ordered the food a few days ahead since we were a group of 9. He even woke up early to make sel roti. Everything was so good and reminded me of home. Great service!! 10/10 recommended!!"

"We ordered takeout. The tandoori chicken was good. The hot is really hot. I would probably go with mild next time. I was expecting the heat level to be off like some other Indian restaurants so I ordered hot expecting mild. My fault on that one. My husband got the chicken tikka masala. He liked that dish as well. We will return when in that area of Charlotte."

"Went here with my wife for our 10 year wedding anniversary last night. We had a really nice evening. Food was great and the curries we had were excellent. Service was fairly slow, but they were very busy with take out orders. Our food came out extremely hot and fresh though, so no real complaints.We started with the samosas. I forgot to take a picture, but the order only came with two. That was fine for us, but be aware of with a group.Next we ordered our mains. I had medium spice Chicken Tikka Masala. It had a pleasant spiciness and the flavor was beautiful. My wife ordered the Palak Paneer which was the best thing we had all night. So smooth, so creamy, so delicious. A must try when you visit. We also shared some garlic naan and a Lamb Biryani. The lamb biryani was also very good and had a nice complexity of flavors.We wanted to try their Lassi's but they told us they were out of the ingredients to make it. Quite disappointing, but I will try again next time.This was our first experience with Indian cuisine in Charlotte, and it did not disappoint. I would say come by and give it a shot, if only to try the Palak Paneer. Truly excellent, and one of the best I have had around the world.Vegetarian options: Like every good Indian restaurant worth it's salt, this place has a load of vegetarian options. Not too much if you're vegan though, so be aware.Kid-friendliness: Very kid friendly. You can adjust the spice level of everything depending on your child's tolerance.Parking: Lots of parking both in front and behind restaurant. If you park in the back, you can enter in through the back door. Staff doesn't mind.Wheelchair accessibility: Parking lot and restaurant are all wheelchair accessible."

"We love the food from Tabla and had a great experience with their lunch thalis on two separate occasions. As you can tell from the pictures, you are given large thalis with flavorful food. Included are the soup; a choice of an appetizer: samosa or tandoori chicken; naan; a choice of various vegetarian and non vegetarian dishes; papad; and a dessert. We opted to add on the biriyani for an additional cost. It was a fabulous meal with plenty left over to take home. The boneless chicken biriyani is excellent, but the goat biriyani tends to be on the dry side."

"I paid $9.99 for the Afghani rice, which states on the menu consists of carrots, raisins and cashews, what I got was plain rice with a couple slivers of carrots. I called the restaurant expecting they would offer to remake the item with cashews since there’s no other way to justify the price, but instead the man on the phone said with an attitude they don’t make it with cashews, I reminded him what the menu says, he simply repeated they don’t make it with cashews, no apology, no refund, no explanation as to what could justify that price for plain rice. Won’t be returning to deal with people who have no customer service and don’t clean their restaurant."

"This place was close to my hotel, and I had wanted Indian cuisine- could not be happier with my experience!
