"My boyfriend and I were vacationing in Hamilton, and were determined to find a good poutine. Look no further. While not "traditional" (it features piri piri and a bit of cilantro in addition to crisp fries, a tasty gravy, and cheese curds), it was by far our favorite. Portion sizes were huge, and we left full (and with leftovers). He got the sandwich, while I got a 1/4 chicken breast and wing. We split a large poutine for $15 (we should have listened to our waitress and only gotten a regular). The food was delicious. Piri piri (since we were confused) is a portugese spice that is in many of their dishes. I tried a mild sauce (similar to franks red hot) and medium (similar to sriracha). Both were yummy. Food was very affordable (a 1/4 chicken with a side is only $13) and great for sharing. We also saw salads there that were gigantic, and the waitress was fantastic. A great Hamilton find!"

"The most pleasant dining experience I have had in years. A quaint and cozy restaraunt with welcoming and attentive staff. The wine selection pairs perfectly with the pasta and the food so good, you won't know whether to cry tears of joy or just sit in silence wondering how you didn't plan your visit earlier. I am excited to make La Spaghett a regular dining experience!"

"I try not to post negative comments, and stick mostly to rating with the stars when there’s a place I don’t like because let’s face it, our opinions are all very subjective and usually speak to one instance in time. But with this Swiss Chalet, I have to make an exception. They are the absolute worst when it comes to forgetting things in your take-out order. We have been frequenting this location for a decade and almost every time we order takeout or delivery, the bag is missing something. I don’t understand why it’s so difficult for them to correct this bad habit, it happens way too often and not just to us. They literally have a log they keep to jot down your info when you call to complain so that they can add the forgotten item to your next visit. That’s a bandaid, not a solution. Could you not train your staff better to ensure no order leaves the kitchen without a quality check or bag check to ensure all items are in the bag? It’s as simple as taking 30 seconds to read the receipt and account for each item… Seems like a common sense step they should implement, but like I already said this has been happening consistently over the decade my family have been ordering from this location and it’s never changed. It’s always a gamble ordering delivery whether we’re going to be happy or irritated… again. I hate giving them my business, but it’s one of the few places my picky eaters will eat from so I deal with it, begrudgingly. I recommend GOING THERE to pick up the order so that you can check your bag before leaving because lord knows how quick those delivery drivers run from your door as soon as they hand you the bag. 1 star because if they don’t care to break their habit, I don’t care to give this review any additional stars."
