"Tried the summer sunset and bird and brie which were both quite nice. The bun was burnt which made it taste bitter but otherwise a nice burger. They do get quite busy which is a bit annoying. Average price per burger is $11. I find adding chips is a bit too much but they do make tasty chips. The second time I had the summer sunset and it was well presented and well cooked, however it still had burnt bits inside - from the bacon I think."

"Chicken and beef burgers (on turkish or brioche roll), steak, roast veges, fried fish the food is far from exotic but it is done well. I've had a few meals from here and have had a good feed every time. I especially admire the consistency. If you ordered a Portuguese chicken burger on brioche last week, you'll get exactly the same tasty plate of food if you order it again this week. I can't take points away for food being unadventurous when it's done this well, at RSL prices. Looking forward to my next visit!"

"Was not impressed. my salate was mainly leaves. very little otopus or other ingredients. that was also longer than expected, which we received especially as we were the only people there. I feel bad for writing because the dame that served me seemed really nice, but she and the other worker appeared very disorganized and roared."

11:30am: We thought that there was going to be a huge queue on a Saturday but we were surprised when we got a table straight away. <br>

Mains: ~Black Benedict, ~Prawn & Chorizo Roll and ~Cuban Melt.<br>
Drinks: ~Matcha latte and ~Coconut latte.<br>

The Black Benedict is their signature dish so of course I had to try it out. It was a black twist on the regular eggs benedict and I welcomed it. The bun was black and soft and the hollandaise itself was black from squid ink. The hollandise sauce was not too rich, the soft shell crab was not too oily and the slaw went well together with the rest of the dish. <br>

I haven't seen any cafes with coconut latte on their menu and this intrigued me to order it. Upon reaching the table, you could smell the aroma of the coconut. The coconut latte had a smooth foam on the top and was not too sweet to start off with. However,about halfway it got sweeter so just make sure you stir it once in a while. The latte also had little bits of desiccated coconut in it which I didn't mind. <br>

"I didn't find this place too bad. Came for breakfast with a friend (it was fairly quiet) and ordered the big breakfast. Good service, good variety and quantity of food on the plate, and pricing is fair (if a little on the high side). Convenient location and enjoyable decor"

"Just caught up with my mum for lunch here and we couldn't have been happier. We were looking for a welcoming place out of the cold and the rain in Chatswood - no easy task as it turns out! We both had the chicken burger which was one of the best I've had - succulent pounded piece of chicken breast, grilled, with a zesty chilli sauce contrasting with a delightfully light aioli and a touch of tangy lime. With fresh baby spinach leaves and tomato slices, all packed into a fluffy damper roll, it was delicious. We couldn't resist a small serve of beer battered chips to share, which were fat and fluffy and irresistible. The food was delivered promptly, the service was delightful ...and we will be back for sure!"

"We started to eat here every so often after our favourite Chatswood cafe spot (Fresh Taste) closed down. I have to say that the staff, service and food is all of top quality. The menu is really interesting and there's a lot of variety. I particularly love the bacon and egg brioche roll with BBQ sauce- it's absolutely delicious and has a great combo of flavours. The hot chocolate is always nice (as well as the coffee, I'm told), plus the desserts are scrumptious as well- we had one of the chocolate cake desserts and its was just lovely, nice and rich but not overpowering, and the staff made a cute smiley face with the chocolate fudge sauce on the plate which was a nice touch. The staff are always jovial and kind and make every effort to make your visit a pleasant one. This is definitely a great place to eat, sitting outside either in the summer or winter."
