"A cute cafe tucked to the side of a garden center. There was an outside garden seating area where people were having their mid-morning coffees. The staff were cheerful and friendly. We ordered the beef burger and the BLT. I was pleasantly surprised by the size of the burger and how juicy the patty was. My wife 's BLT came in a 'deconstructed ' form (or maybe it was supposed to be an open sandwich . Herbs in the focaccia bread they used for the BLT was quite overpowering for me. They had Rocket Fuel sauce which was a bonus for us :"

"I was quiet happy with my experience at Frankies. Staff was pleasant and as helpful as we asked them to be. Food was well prepared with attention to presentation which I appreciate. The sauces were all incredible and paired very well with the dishes we ordered. The short rib and the carbonara were the favorites. If I “had” to make a critique it would just be that the meat temperatures were a little over done but nothing that ruined the meal."

"Very good value but the chicken burger was so covered in chipotle thats all you could taste. Music was repetive and annoying and decor was really in need of serious upgrade. Def a pub!! Photos dont really describe place. Toilet yickky. Friendly staff and good service"

"Nice atmosphere and friendly staff, often very busy and can feel a bit squished. Cool decorations and nice places to take photos (recommend outside by the wall painting <br/ <br/ The burgers appear small but I usually leave feeling pretty full. strongly recommend their curly fries and shakes!!<br/ <br/ Bit on the pricey side considering the quantity, especially if you're paying for more than just yourself, but overall I would recommend : <br/ <br/ (Bad photo sorry!"

"Delicious food and a nice relaxing atmosphere.<br/ <br/ I had the buttermilk chicken burger which I cannot fault! It was delicious and well priced, and came with fries. <br/ My friend had the octopus and while he said it was good it was extremely small. Other than the burgers I get the feeling this place is meant to be a shared menu.<br/ <br/ I really enjoyed the vibe of the place, it was classy while still feeling relaxed. Would 100% go back"

"I've been here a number of times for drinks and snacks. Excellent craft beer, great fit out, very clean and good location. Staff are friendly. I wish they had a wider range of wines, though I know this is for the beer fans a bit more variety in wine would be welcomed. Very good atmosphere. The outside seating is nice and well maintained as well, very clean and tidy especially considering what a busy stretch of road it runs parallel to."

"Popped in for lunch while passing time before a flight out of Wellington and had one of the best fried chicken burgers I think I've ever had. The Hudson has a nice vibe, there were people sampling whiskey, craft beer on tap (excellent selection) and as mentioned the food was bang on! Highly recommended!"
