"Help the storm. on Friday 3rd mai 2015 our family had arranged after the death of our pop for a version. this was the day of the storm; the hotel to flood. the 4 of us who made it, the curse was a 90-year-old woman in a wheel chair. the workers with all their problems could still be more than helpful when they look around us. the bar staff, the security man and the manager stayed with us all for the three and a half hours to get a taxi after our car was flooded (later written off) we can thank them enough. maggie reeve, dan mcintosh, john tillack mary tillack"

"Terrible food that is also over priced with ordinary service that I wouldn't recommend to anyone. Complained to the staff but they said there was nothing that they could do as it is a chain company. Do not waste your time or money."

"Eat dry old and tastes disgusting. cold old funky twill on soggy burger. no customer service had to ask if they socialize with themselves and ignore the customers. when they ask for something, they make it like a problem. dead discarded eating on the floor, air openings on the roof dirty. no smiling. try the cooks actually the so-called food they produce? cost-effective night with children on a pension $75 for this slinging taste e don't waste time money or heath at this place like a teenage playhouse as a business"

"Initially came to try out another cafe in the same complex only to discover they arent open so decided to stop into nessies for a coffee and a bite to eat with flatmate.. establishment clean with a variety of tables to chose from. Service was...slightly confusing as told to take a seat , thought it was table service, soon figured out that you ordered at the counter. (No biggie) Ordered 2 iced coffees and their steak burger with a side of chips. With only 2 staff members (1 FOH) and a cook, service was slow but understand its possibly the owners working and saving themselves the added costs of penalty rates. Iced coffees were sickly sweet. I ended up giving my flatmate my iced coffee.. not too sure if they add vanilla syrup or use a coffee flavoured syrup instead of espresso. Steak burger from flatmate was tasty and even the steak was cooken nicely although the wait was roughly 40mins for entire order to reach the table (with only one order in front of us for 2 people). Feeling slightly disappointed and now have to buy another coffee on the way home. Not overly inclined to return."

"Usually it's difficult to get a last minute reservation at Burpengary Tavern on a Friday night, so we were a little surprised when we dined after a 6 week absence to find the dining area only half full. We soon learned why. There's a new menu and it's not a patch on the old one. The old menu had dishes to suit anyone from the pickiest diner to the local foodie. The new menu just does not make sense. Added to that 4 of our 5 hot dinners were so overcooked and dry as to be inedible. I had the fresh fish of the day with crispy skin served on a bed of polenta etc etc. I asked for my fish to be cooked to medium (as is usual for salmon) and it was cooked beyond well done and the polenta was a dry, tasteless mound of cold rubbish. The steaks were well done instead of medium rare. At least the Caesar Salad was prepared well. And where are the lovely enter pizzas? I won't be rushing back."

"I just needed a cheese pizza kids meal for my daughter who doesn’t eat meat..couldn’t help because pizzas were pre-maid and had ham on it, no alternatives available apparently (including being able to make a quick cheese pizza!)no help or care given and I said we’ll have to go somewhere elseresponse was “no worries” so we left and didn’t order drinks or food.
