"Have eaten here a few times in last few months. Every meal lovely and beautifully presented. Staff have all been friendly and attentive. Is more for nice dining so prices reflect this. It 's not a 'fancy ' decor place but is close to down town market and theater so great location for meal out before/after a show."

"The waitress got both my friends meals wrong . Didn’t taken them back when we brought up how wrong they were. She just asked if they would still eat it. They both didn’t even eat half their meals. Also when they had their pan bread it just got taken away when it’s wasn’t done because their wrong meals came out. They were saving the pan bread to take home and no one asked them and it was just gone. I felt so bad as I planned this a birthday dinner for my friend and her husband and they left very upset. The only thing taken off the bill was one meal and i still thought that was completely unacceptable as they hardly ate their food and just wanted to leave . Was not a good experience for them at all."

"This restaurant has fantastic food and ambiance! My only criticism is that their music soundtrack is extremely sad, for the hour and half my wife were there we pretty much only heard tear jerker type songs. Lots of John Mayer, travelling soldier by Dixie chicks, just to name some examples. It didn 't seem to suit the environment but hey maybe I just don 't know. My wife and I were also cut off after only 2 drinks when to our knowledge we gave no sign of intoxication and were quietly keeping to ourselves. It was a little disappointing as this was my birthday dinner and I would have liked to hang out for awhile longer and order another round."

"What a great way to end a family weekend. After an enjoyable day at The African Lion Safari and overnight stay at The Delta Hotel in Waterloo. We found this gem by getting off the 401W to go to McDonalds! We never saw the McDonalds but saw Fireside and decided to give it a try. What a great lunch we had! Hubby got the Triple Play breakfast (Eggs, Sausage, Home Fries and Toast), One daughter had the Cluckin Burger which she said was great. The other daughter & I had the Cluckin Fingers with hand cut fries. Our chicken fingers were crunchy on the outside, hot & juicy on the inside. No dried overcooked chicken breast here. The fries were to die for! Although it looked as if our poor waitress was serving all of the tables in our section. She was very attentive and made sure we had all we needed."

"The breakfast food is good, and decently priced for the amount you get. I was pleasantly surprised they added a fruit dish at no extra cost. But they dont cut the peeling off the kiwi. I really wish they would package differently or use different packaging because the condensation of the meal/ steam makes the toast and potatoes completely soggy to the point its not really enjoyable to eat at all. (Ruined them) The omelette and bacon was cooked perfectly. really need to keep the toast separate like in a paper bag as most other places do. The scrambled eggs were a bit bland.. and I personally found the stuffed potatoes to have too much of a strong fake bacon taste."

"This was my first ever visit to Richie’s. We organized an end of day gathering after a funeral service. It was comforting and relaxing atmosphere. The food was great as was the staff. Thank you."
