"We were staying at the local Sprowston Manor Hotel and the menu didn’t offer great choice so we headed to the Blue Boar and we thought the food was great, I had the chicken curry which tasted fantastic and looked as good as it tasted, my parter only had good comments about the hunters chicken, we were also tempted by the desserts which at £4.95 were amazing value, the only disappointment was that we weren’t staying longer as we would have been back, friendly staff very attentive, and great value for money"

"I was getting petrol at the Jet garage opposite and smelt the Chinese food on my way back to the car before I actually saw it or thought of it. This was one of those unplanned gems, found purely because I went out for fuel. I went over and upon seeing their 4* food hygiene, entered and placed an order. While waiting I was reading the menu and New China points out all food is freshly cooked and I was not disappointed. A basic order of chicken chow mein, and salt and pepper chips that went down well. I would completely agree, it was fresh and the chow mein was tasty and not greasy. The chips were also clearly freshly prepared and not refried. Portion size was also generous. I high recommend and will be returning."
