"Interesting Indian food but not great value. Not sure what happened with the Teh Tarik they brought out before we sent it back - strong, bitter tea, little bit of milk, no sugar, no spices. The next ones were more like the real thing but still not authentic."

"Out to dinner and the table was so small the water and wine had to be placed on the floor. Disappointing as there were other tables unused . If you go make sure the table is large enough especially if you are sharing dishes...as we had to hurry to finish dishes as the next ones came out. There was no room on the table"

"Very good food from Malaysian. We've been to Malaysia 2 months ago and here we found the same cuisine that we had there. Managed by Malaysian people. Very reasonable price, we spent $30.- for 2. We will definitely come back."

"I was with my wife and a friend and we loved this place. We have been there on a late night and we enjoyed the food and the ambiance. It's a small restaurant with a great atmosphere, inviting, clean and tidy. They have a projector and an old movie was running there, a good option to kill time till your good comes. We tried Hainanese chicken rice, Satey chicken rice and Rice curry chicken Kapitan. We liked all the 3 dishes. Chicken Kapitan is a must try. Reasonable price and portion. Price rage: ~30$ for 2 people.Prompt and quick servicing, attentive staff. Overall it was a nice experience and would definitely recommend. Will go there again for Laksa. Overall rating: 4.5/5"

"We chanced upon Killiney Kopitiam where we were out and about on Bourke Street Melbourne on 7 May 17.The menu was really extensive, it includes a few of Singapore's local dishes, eg. Mee Siam, Laksa, Nasi Lemak, Fish Ball Noodles, Chicken Rice etc as well as chilli crab (a Singapore must try dish for tourist) plus local desserts.We ordered 2 sets of Nasi Lemak (coconut rice) served with beef rendang (the other is with fried chicken), together with ikan bilis (anchovies), peanuts and of course it is not complete without the sambal chilli. The taste is compatible to Singapore's standard, shiok!! (awesome).For those missing Singapore food whilst in Melbourne or those who have yet to visit Singapore, Killiney Kopitiam is a place to sample our local food culture. "
