"We didn't eat in the restaurant but used the Chinese Lantern for takeaway whilst staying in Hornsea. We found the food was reasonably priced and we enjoyed what we had. The only slight disappointment was the egg fried rice which had barely any egg in it."

"Wow where to start, TERRIBLE. We were served OFF lager and then when brought new drinks again they were off. The food, horrific and disgusting. I didnt know that such bland soulless food could taste so disgusting. I even made a comment that the best tasting thing on the table was the water. The man that served us came over to ask how the food was, we were 1 bite in and being polite and not realising how bad the food was we said okay thank you, what he actually was doing was looking at the second pints of off lager to see if there was sediments floating in them again. When he hesitantly came to ask if we were finished when the table was full of food untouched we said that the food was not nice at all... his response was well you should have said we were telling him at this point it was horrible and he was sarcastic and unapologetic. Now reading all the reviews we have realised this is the common theme. Terrible food and terrible service to go with it . Over priced as well. AVOID AT ALL COSTS."
