Not wanting to drink drive on our Aniversary we decided on a Chinese Takeaway from the Lantern. Staying in Hornsea in a friends home it was easy to do, along with a bottle of Alcas we enjoyed the meal, shared starter, prawn dish, crispy beef chicken satay were all delicious with a special fried rice Mmmmmmm, !!!!! What Shelagh J doesn't like about Chinese Lantern:
We'd been to the Chinese Lantern on a previous trip to Hornsea so knew the décor and service were nothing special but that the food was good. Two years on, nothing much has changed. The décor is a little more tired and the service is slow and vague, but the food is still delicious.
